FYI, typhoons and hurricanes are the exact same type of storm system, it's just a matter of naming conventions. West of the International Dateline they are called typhoons, east of it they are hurricanes. So Hawaii has hurricanes. Tropical systems that affect Australia are called tropical cyclones, but they are all the same. The low pressure systems that affect the continental US and Europe are referred to a midlatitude cyclones, so don't confuse those with the tropical variety.

Why have many Gambits german words? Like "Hammerschlag (hammer blow), Bäuerle (Minimization and slang of "peasant"), Grob (rough)...."
We Germans like to sacrifice our lesser people for the greater good of course. Has worked out very well in history!

at 56:00 why didnt you go knight f5, if bishop takes you takewith queen and fork rook and check, if he moves queen you can also check and fork rook. am i missing something?

please explain chess memory. how can you recall a game from 10 years ago, not only the positions and moves but also when and against who. edit: ok he sorta speaks to this in the stream a bit but it still incredible to me
Humans are very good at remembering stories, so the trick is thinking of the story of the game: why each move for played, what you were thinking doing it.
