ok but is it accidental or an ego trip for them? OB senior get mad if MS3 doesn't follow the intern's every move, but they rarely tell you where they're going. So its you JUMPING out of your seat to follow them, and they either say "don't follow me" or you figure it out when you're near the door.
"Stop following me!" to "Why aren't you following me!" is a constant battle I fight as a med student, which could all be solved by simple communication about what you're getting up to go do... Agony
@@SchillerDuval They shouldn't have to tell the attending. Ease up on the toxic med culture. The attendings should have the decency to guide, you know, the STUDENT who doesn't know how things work yet.
@@SchillerDuval Yeah pretty convenient for them to ask for the student to take all the initiatives in the communication process, not like they were supposed to TEACH you or anything...
No joke, my first emergency delivery as an intern ended in the biggest splash of meconium amniotic fluid you could ever imagine. Me and the obgyn just drenched from chest to toes. I didn't even have time to put shoe covers and I was wearing my brand new white sneakers. Doctor called it my baptism. Checked off that specialty off my list for sure.
Completely agree. Skits just as funny as doc Schmidt or Glaucomfleken, but as deadpan as Medlife Crisis. Really fast, edited super well, this channel will have 500k+ if you ask me
@@samrusoff perfect rundown. It also has the scenes and dialogue cutting off and continuing later while still being understandable. Preston is the Tarantino of the medical content creators.
Is it just a universal OBGYN thing to NEVER say where you’re going and then get mad when the med student doesn’t follow you or does follow you when they shouldn’t???
Me standing in Front of my bathroom mirror at 7am after a nightshift in L&D and noticing a substantial amount of babypoop on my right arm... Was it from Baby #1 or #5 that night?
When you look down, notice a spray of blood across the leg of your scrubs down to your sneakers, and realize you've been walking around like that for 15 hours without anyone saying anything. /goodbyesneakers, helloshower

The ultimate quandary: do you follow them everywhere, and risk following them to the bathroom, or do you try to read their mind and inevitably get wrong 🥲
Accidentally following an attending/resident into the bathroom is all too real.
Omg aaaall the tiiime

defeatedly sitting down and sipping a coke while covered in grossness..... felt that one in my soul
Are you not allowed to shower?
@@israeliana no
Not just a coke, but a diet coke at that.
This is some consistently fantastic content, very unique style compared to other medicine skits online.
Reminds me of The Office with the awkward stares and random/relevant conversation in between. Lol

OB/GYN is pound for pound the bloodiest speciality out there. 8/10, needs more snide remarks from the resident.
Yeap, i remember it as a battlefield
going over the VEAL CHOP mnemonic is so accurate lol
It’s the mopey, “Happy Birthday…” for me 💀
Him trying to PV everything to see how wide it is 😂😂😂😂😂
That tattoo sleeve is slowly fading away xD. Loving the vids man, very applicable to Australian Medicine as well.
It’s almost off now lol
The absolute rift between Videos and Shorts uploaded on this channel is like the grand canyon. My guy is comedian by day, hard body by night 💪🥵
Hahaha decided to change the direction for the channel
Did you just used an IUCD as toothpick my guy?💀
IUD toothpick. Now I have seen it all
and this is why I chose radiology
I got the veal chop lecture 5 minutes into day 1 on ob l&D lmao
The IUD toothpick almost made me choke 😂
Haha love the speculum reference from the interview video
This channel is definitely gonna blow up
Does Glaukomflecken have a new and growing rival??
Wonder when he gets his own Jonathan?
The integration of timelines across videos is sublime
These are so iconic.
I was gowned and gloved and somehow got blood in my shirt pocket on my clicky pen AND between my shoulder blades. How either of these happened…🤷🏻♀️
Did you get to clean off between rooms?
Haha yep! And cavi-wiped the pen.
But….blood INSIDE the pen? No?
@@thethe4665 inside the pen? No, haven’t managed that feat yet, but I’m only 10yrs into my career.

I was a med student's first delivery and I've been trying to track them down but I don't know if they would appreciate it or not 😅
In 20 years if my first delivery said hi to me I would buy them lunch

My sisters water broke and it got on her husbands shoes and then when she delivered the baby, more fluid got on his shoes
The toothpick.... lol
Why does he have track marks on his right arm?
Nice!
The nurses at my job would curse you out if came into staff lounge wearing all that ick on your scrubs.
I hated obgyn rotations
Med student didn't spend the entire night measuring fetal HR and contractions manually? Huh. Different world.
nice shoes , your shoes gonna be full of blood after delivery😅
Stop following me I'm going to the bathroom. 😐
Greaaaatt
Slayyyyy~
