Assuming I ever get that far (I'm 35 and have healthcare experience but no undergrad degree yet so I'm back in college for premed now) I think I'll most likely be applying for primary care and maybe internal med residencies. But I'm a public health geek and also unhoused and I do first aid for my unhoused peers and I want to keep working with underserved populations, so I get plenty of exciting "manage an emergency or weird situation in the literal woods with only what's available" in my life already lol XD I'm really drawn to the idea of a rural residency. I LOVE the stubborn resilient often-reluctant populations in general (I think there will be tons of lessons I can take from rural med and bring back to my kind of urban patients) so I'm sure that'll keep things interesting!

He was also crushing an energy drink and putting in orders and "attending" a zoom meeting and dictating all at the same time. For real bro.
This reminds me of a guy I dated in high school. I felt like I was reliving that date, but his high education has changed (shout out to Dr. Google cameo) but his dirty POS car, poor driving skill drink choice, and obsession with desinger animals has not. And I am so much older, lol
My mom keeps saying I should go into EM...she may be on to something, I climb, drive a junker, the floorboard always has an assortment of empty energy drink cans, and rant to my friends about why they should have a helmet/quit smoking drunk cigarette because of X scenario I've seen in the hospital lol.
