- I AM BACK and ready to get more vids out! I wanted to do some broad-gestured character animation with this one, heavily inspired by Dr. Doppler in Treasure Planet (notice the multiple chins). Thank you for watching and if you wanna take part in the Q&A, you can ask you questions here in the comments or on my Twitter! Take care!

Q&A time window is now over! I'm workin on getting everything together and I'll probably get the vid out after the next one! Thanks for the questions everybody!
Did you ever do a video with a face reveal? I swear you did
What is your favorite video game?
Out of all jerma's finger which is your favourite
what inspired you to start animation?
Why is there a man with a gun in my house
The little chatoids you draw are perfect.
Amazing stuff as always!
EYYYY ITS LUMPY I LOVE UR WORK DUDE
hi lumpy
LUMPYYY! :D
Good to see ya around mate!
me :)
Where is breaking bad gameboy'd edition? You said you were speed racing to get to 1mill and now you are there. So where is the long form content? Where is breaking bad? It's been 5 months, almost half a year since your last breaking bad video.
I love how Jerma gets drawn in consistently increasingly deranged ways in every new video you release.
just like real life
He really captured his Lanky Kong strangler arms.
@@omlo9093 yes the arms are magnificent, I agree 😂
0-5-0 ice monkey what are you doing here
realer to life every time
I'm glad you included counting Leonardo and Davinci as two separate people on his fingers
It def almost sounded like he said it as if Leonardo and Da Vinci were separate people. xD
homestuck 🫵
Then Jerma hammered it down by saying 'they're all dead' rather than 'they're both dead.'
@@theMyRadiowasTaken is trash and its fanbase is insufferable
DaVinci is the famous renaissance artist, "Leonardo DaVinci"
Leonardo is the ninja turtle
I like how you've somehow drawn him as scrawny, buff, and with a dad bod simultaneously.
I think you're still allowed to say "fat" on the Internet. xD
@@Red-Tape-Rending Yeah, but having a "dad bod" is a very specific kind of "being fat". It's like saying someone is buff, or saying specifically that they have strong arms, each one indicates a different thing even though they both involve the person having well defined muscles.
@BLUREDline jerma isn't fat lmao.
@@Red-Tape-Rending Having a dad bod isn't really a synonym for being overall fat, silly. It is a word to refer to the way many men's bodies naturally change as they age, which does *coincidentally* sometimes include having a bit of a paunch.
@@ObsidianGloria it's not the weight, it's the distribution of said weight.
i love how you draw chat
I was literally just thinking that lmao
The lil chat guys are so cute
Well it's accurate.
Chat doesn't deserve to look so cute.
That’s what I said on his last Jerma animation!
It's like your art is the only style that can perfectly express Jerma's personality perfectly
perfectly express Jerma's personality perfectly
IT REALLY IS :), no one else can as perfectly perfectly perfect the way he does it, how does he do it!!
perfectly perfect perfection
Both him and the Mr Green animator guy
You’re telling me a jerma animated this video
I love how he lists Leonardo and DaVinci as separate people
Loved that too lol
i didnt even notice with how confidently he says it
It gets me every single time I see the clip.
I don't know why he mentioned Michaelangelo and Leonardo, but then said Da Vinci. That ain't a TMNT.
That "I REMAIN" holds so much power and conviction, but also a distant sadness. He's truly an eternal being.
Ah yes, the three very famous performance artists:
Michelangelo, Leonardo, & Da Vinci.
Leonardo vs Da Vinci is of course on of the most infamous artistic rivalries in history. You hardly ever hear their names mentioned if not alongside eachother
He wasn't talking about other performance artists huehue
@@Voc_spooksauce yeah but he separated leonardo and da vinci 😭
Leonardo (the ninja turtle), da Vinci (the painter)
He forgot to mention Sun Tzu.
I can't get over how fluid the animation is, this is the only form to truly embody the cartoonish absurdity that is Jerma
The thought of Jerma being one of those villains that has a reputation with the people to uphold while being terrible and this is his villain monologue is amazing.
What do you mean “thought”? The protagonists have confronted him long ago, only thing is he won and managed to beat the meat grinder allegations
This is the part of the movie where the villain exposes themselves unwittingly to their fans who can now see them for the Monster they are.
@@SamuraiMorshu YES! EXACTLY!
@@SamuraiMorshu And yet they still cheer. Jerma is a Homelander type, it would seem.
@@SamuraiMorshu It strikes me more as when the villain who's been hiding their evil side for the whole movie finally gets tired of it and stages their own big reveal.
After all, Jerma's a mastermind. He would never do anything by accident or mistake.
im obsessed with how he lists Leonardo and Da Vinci as two people
Leonardo the Turtle and Da vinci the artist respectfully.
Have you ever worked for Disney or another animation studio? I only ask cause as an animator I can tell the absolute amount of talent and effort you put into these videos.
It's indeed very Disney-esque lol
I think Disney fired all their traditional animators
me personally I get more don bluth-y vibes from it. his expressions were more sharp and… stuck around longer (didn’t know how else to put it) whereas disney’s were more flowy, and smoothly transitioned into the next expression
@@nelly5954 Nah, their traditional animators just do storyboard-type work rather than the final versions these days.
@@freemindproductionsorsomet896Definitely feels like he was animated like Preed from Titan A.E. Similar proportions and outfit with lots of hand movements never really putting them down.
The effect when his mic peaks is actually a fantastic detail 👌
“What will you have after 500 years!?!!?!” “I’ll have you, Jerma”
It's pretty crazy how much your style improved over the 5 year hiatus. I already felt like your GG animations were in the absolute S-Tier at the time, up there with Louie Zong and Brandon Turner.
My question is, what animators or animations do you feel have a good deal of influence on your current work?
Seeing a new Corax video drop is like finding money in your pocket that you forgot was there.
it's like opening the fridge and new food has spawned
It's like dad getting back home not only with the cigarettes but with a brand new Corax video
You really captured his maniacal Bioshock antagonist energy. Well done.
I never thought to compare this bit to a Bioshock antagonist but omg ur so right
Sander Cohen, but even more deranged and less classy.
@@greendart_ honestly idk why people are ‘scared’ of Jerma, I love the mentally deranged bioshock villain who takes his morals to their fullest extent
Beethoven is temporary,
Jerma is eternal
*Translate to English*
the way you animate him without him losing proportion and with such smoothness is incredible
for the QnA: How long have you been drawing and animating for?
i love this, it truly turned Jerma's mini steamer tantrum into a director having a full mental breakdown in front of thousands
0:12
The edit you did to the colors when he hit his mic and said the first i remain was nice, i liked that bit
Love how jerma’s arms basically take up his whole body.
i'm always impressed with how high quality these always are!!!
First, another INCREDIBLE animation! Second, a question for your Q&A: what is your favourite part of the animation process? (Character design, animatic, coloring, etc)
As always with a Corax animation, I have to watch it like 10 times to capture all of the subtleties and details. Love your work brotha.
Your Jerma animations are not only what I consider to be the only cannon animated Jerma character, but also one of the few things in this world that just keeps me going
this is incredible lmfao, jerma the movie director
also for the q&a: how do you make jerma's movements so smooth and fluid, whilst still feeling kinda rough and choppy?
Yoooo Victini
@@VibreProductions hey!
Not the first person to bring this up, but I love the detail of Jerma confidently holding out _three_ fingers as if "Leonardo" and "Da Vinci" are two different people.
they are though. leonardo is the guy from titanic
I love the slight thump sound when he says, "I remain!"
I always come back to this video just to watch how beautiful the movement in the acting is. I especially also love the touch of Jerma swiping his thumb across his neck during the "They're all dead!" part!
You make Jerma so life like. Its almost like he's a real person. And for the QnA, what is the toughest part of animating a video for you?
This is tremendous! Watching it through I was astounded by the clarity and smoothness, then reading the desc it made a lot of sense why it felt that way. The face in particular - the double chin, as you say, but also all of the creases, the way his lips contort, his eyes changing from just a tiny pupil to including the iris, lots of little details make this just incredible.
I swear Jerma's voice is legit movie-tier voice acting material too. The way he says, "*I* remain --- as a *performance artist.*" The indignance on 'performance artist' is captured perfectly by the animation.
The way you draw Twitch chat needs to be appreciated more, they're so cute
Or what?
@@davidreeding9176 Or I will be the big sad because I absolutely love how they draw Twitch chat
I love his implication that he outlasted classical artists, was there alongside them and outlived them like an ancient horror
I don't know how you capture the psycho character that is Jerma so well, but whatever you're doing, PLEASE don't stop! 💛
the thing i love about these animations is that there’s always more detail in jerma’s face than in the entire rest of the video. amazing as always
i love and hate how lanky his arms are like he just busted out of the nearest scp foundation and is keenly intent on streaming to inflict his cognitohazards onto his dear viewers
Listen man. I am just glad you are still alive and animating. That 5 year gap was SCARY!!! congratulations on 200k. ❤
For the qna: has jerma seen any of your animations if so what did he think of them?
I'd really like to know, too!
Corax did art for Grotto Beasts so I assume Jerma has seen most or all of these animations
yeah he saw the "mickey drained the battery from my ipod" one
The chat looks amazing, they never fail to make Jerma go insane on a whole new level
Pumpkin
i love how jerma says "theyre all dead. I REMAIN" as if he was alive at the same time as them
You animated his mic bump, absolutely amazing
I love how the mic smack in the original is now the pure power behind his statement. Its almost to perfect to be from the original clip.
THIS GUY! used the Lego Racers 2 Mars music in the outro, I LOVE YOU
This implies that Jerma has been alive since the renaissance
It feels like part of a villain speech
I wasn't expecting Disney production level of animation when I clicked on the funny Jerma animation. Grats on being this powerful.
I am so glad you use your immense artistic talent to animate these deranged jerma moments!! What clips do you plan on animating in the future? (or is it a suprise lol)
Congrats on 200k u deserve it! Your animations are seriously so well done for how goofy and deranged the context is
I love your gremlin animation each time. They're sooooo smooth and satisfying to watch
For the Q&A: I’d love to know „how“ you found your artstyle or way of animating! It’s so bouncy and recognisable, probably one of the most recognisable ones I’ve seen! :)
Thanks for animating this, it’s one of my favourite Jerma clips. Your style compliments Jerma really well and it’s cool bro!
Your animations always make my day better. Siting down to watch this I just now had what must’ve been the biggest, goofiest smile on my face XD. Thank you, I love your content!! You’re an inspiration 💙
i like how he has incredibly a really detailed face and arms but his torso is just a little cylinder thing
Amazing animation as always, super lively and expressive!! For the QnA, how did you learn to animate? Did you go to school or were you self-taught and if so, what resources did you use?
i love your animations, the art style and movement, the smoothness of the animation, plus Jerma is one of the perfect psychopaths to animate
I love your videos so much! Congrats on 200k man you deserve it 🎉
i friggin love ur videos man, jermy in ur style is always a treat !
It always makes me happy seeing Corax upload especially when it's Jerma it's even better but it's good to see you man hope everything is good with you. Honestly I never expected I'd ever see you anime Jerma because I never thought you were a fan a Jerma but I'm so happy that you are, you're a blessing to the Jerma community and I appreciate these wonderful animations you make of him. Well I wasn't expecting to hear your voice but congrats on 200k subs! I'm honestly surprised you don't have more because you're an amazing artist and definitely deserve more, I love your work it's great.
Always a good time when Corax uploads
Whenever you post I have to binge watch all of your animations every time
this is the last recording of a spooky character in a horror game before you see him as a deformed monster in the next room
He was fighting these people back in the day
Your animation is so inspiring and so expressive it makes me wanna animate something
So dynamic and fluid, this animation is UNREAL
So fluid with your motions and so expressive with your details
The way you draw and animate hands... You are so skilled. It inspires me a lot!
Holy shit is that the Mars soundtrack for Lego Racers 2 at the end??
Congrats!!!! Love seeing your animations and the progression of this living painting!
Fucking in love with the fact that he says "Leonardo, Da Vinci" as if they're two different people.
To this day I can't figure out if it was a mistake or a joke when he said Leonardo and DaVinci, because they are the same person.
Your style perfectly fits the uncanny vibe jerma has.
This is ceazy expressive and smooth each frame stands on its own so well. I love it
Insanely good animation, as always!!! Congrats on 200k 🎉
Your style always stands out to me as looking smooth and confident so effortlessly despite the undeniable amount of work that goes into it. How did you develop such a style that feels so self assured and looks so effortless?
Not a question, I just really love your intro logo. The style, the way it animates, the simplicity. It's really great.
your skill and thoughtful work SHINES !! goofy, silly, and eeply impressive
I've always enjoyed seeing animation being created every step of the way. The end segments are kindof my favorite part. I might not have a highest functioning work-ethic in cartooning and animation, but I am definitely inspired by your work. Thank you
Jerma looks a lot like a renaissance disney villain in this one.
as jerma’s arms elongate and his sanity depletes, his complete transformation into SCP-096 draws ever closer
This is so smooth that I almost didn't think to stop and appreciate some of it frame by frame. EVERY frame is as lively as it is disturbing.
You are a GOD at animating and I could not be more envious
Are you a fan of Lego Racers 2? I could recognize the mars theme from my childhood instantly lol.
What is your fav aspect of animating? Is Jerma a good way of exercising your skills with how ANIMATED he is? I love how much detail is in your animation ❤
Ah man I'm glad I read the other questions before posting mine. I asked the same thing you did!
i love how he says "leonardo, da vinci they are all dead" as if leonardo and da vinci are two seperate people and as if he didnt just say 2 names in a list of 3
never noticed how much he makes it sound like he killed them before
Why is he built like hopper from Bug's Life 😭
This is amazing, the way you captured jerma985 insanity so fluently. My question is, what is your animation process, and how do you keep the character model consistent all throughout?
This gives the vibes of a villain breakdown scene
Amazingly expressive, brilliant work.
He reminds me of Milo Thatch if he gave up archeology😂
My question is; What made you decide to animate the grumps back in the day? I found you through those animations and still love them very much
Peace and love
thank you for animating this it's one of my favorite jerma quotes
THANK YOU "FREAK WHO MAKES THESE VIDEOS" ALWAYS A JOYOUS TIME TO SEE THESE MOVING IMAGES
A drawn QnA? Awesome! Happy to also put a voice to the talent behind this channel.
Have a great weekend, Corax c:
Thoughts on Oneyplays?
Jerma and Corax are forever! (Congrats on 200k)
Jerma is suggesting that he is the Michelangelo of our time and that anyone who was ever better than him is already dead. Truly a megalomaniac.
