I'm curious about your opinion of the 28 V2 for video (is it too clean? Does the short focus throw bother you? And how you would compare it to a v1?)

You should try a cheap Cosina 19-35 f3.5-4.5 rather nice even if plastic.
I was going to buy it many times while surfing on ebay...maybe I shoud convince myself that I need another vintage lens ahahahh
Fortunately my sensor is s35 so I just speedboost to go wider. Cheating a bit but hey it is what it is.

I got one of these wide-angle converters (Dorr DHG 37mm 0.45x Wide Angle Conversion Lens) from Amazon a few years back it was about £30 - I screwed it onto a 12mm Lumix lens for my GH5S to make the shots extremely wide, I used it to film a fight scene in my movie and it works quite well (depending on how you use it), even the image was very sharp and colorful.
However I found when I moved the lens in certain ways there was distortion, they are not always rectilinear (ie with the one I have when you move up or down you notice some distortion etc). And I was making an already wide 12mm lens to an extremely wide 7.1mm, with this contraption. I couldn't really do any wild camera movements. I found that it was best to use for stationary shots. They are excellent though depending on what you want to use them for and how you use them and it's great for cinematographers who want to come up with some really wide tricks.
