Hello, please help if possible. My question is not about the topic of this video, but about Sony ZV e1, since it does not have a slot for a CFexpress card, is there any quality difference in recording 4k 120 fps in XAVC-S I 4k 1200M 4:2:2 10 bit in a7sIII and 4k 120fps for ZV E1 in XAVC S 4k 280M 4:2:2 10 bit
Jason Morris Question... Is it worth shooting f4 for the OSS? or... more worth it if I shoot f2.8 or lower for better Image quality and low light performance? A7IV wedding shooter
I use the Moment anamorphic adaptor with my contact zeiss lenses (and P6k Pro) and they are a match made in heaven. I have to dial my 35mm & 50mm from 1.4 to F2 in so as to get a sharp image. The Contact 85mm i have to dial to 2.8 (best at F4) to get a sharper image.
The adopters are a good option if you have a lot of lenses already but if you’re building your lens kit still maybe just buy an anamorphic lens instead.
Just bought the Sirui one last week! I'm in the honeymoon period but have been getting nice results with it. And, it works with the 35mm 1.4 GM perfectly. It's even sharp at 1.4. The only con is that the flare is very subdued. But the versatility of it is amazing, and the resulting aspect ratio when shooting with my A7iv is perfect for mobile phone viewing 😁 I'm a happy buyer. Do you keep both or only one of the two?
Hey man! I am really tempted to pick up the sirui! Do you get good coverage shooting full frame on 35mm? I've heard it covers pretty well, much wider than the moment.
30mm is fine but 24mm has vinite on full frame, tried 11mm on apsc and the same. Other then that if flare are too subtle there are filters like bluemorphic that work well with sirui and you will get a flares like in Michael Bay movie. I personally use it with sirui lenses and helios 44-2. It should be great with any not super wide old lense. What I also found out the lens coating reduces the flaring and improves a contrast in old lenses. But It may be just that it is working like a lens hood for a old lens.
I have been subscribed to you for years. I searched for this lens and you popped up but I was not subscribed to you anymore. Something is wrong bro! You may want to check this out
Anamorphic lens seems way out on the edge for UA-cam creators. I don't have any interest and don't know anyone in my circle of YT Creators that has even mentioned it to me. Cheers
@@dariofinderleFeature film production is the only place I've seen them used. I just don't think these adapters and Sirui lenses are being marketed to the pro's.
Thanks Jason for taking the time to make this video Cheers!

What abotu the Loawa 1.33 fornt anamorphic adapter?
We’re gonna have to wait for a top 10 cinematographer to use it for a commercial agency to allow the use

How are you attaching the helios to the adpater? With the many step up rings that are like a cone? Or one step up right that goes wide
Lumix is best! Great video as always!
Haha this can be used on lumix

Try Great Joy adapter , the best one
so this adapter won't be good for 24-70mm zoom lense?
These are tempting and definitely very cool.. but I’m not sold just yet. Might just save up for a proper anamorphic glass
A real one will always be better but it's nice to turn any lens into an anamorphic
Yeah it's tough... I already have some prime lenses I like, so buying a $1000 converter basically gives me the value back @@builderphill1361
This was a great video. Thank you.
I finally found out how to bring the Horizon in Teardrops to make the 3:10 effect in your video.
Hi, the adapter make lens flare on a classic lens???
Yes
Oh, yes! Owning the Sirui, I was reeeeally interesting in a comparison. Thanks 🔥
So much focus breathing. If you invest in one of those make sure and budget for quality diopters or it will drive you nuts.
Thank you
I assume Sony AF wouldn't work with these on? would focus just the lens but not the filter right?
Correct

@@kylehessling2679my 24mm lens is under repair at Sony so I can't test the limits, but 35mm is very well covered!
Glad you posted this, was just thinking of combing this with my 35mm GM on the A7IV

oh its just 2000usd, more then my cam with all my lenses together.
Moment is too expensive for a 1.33x. I'll wait for the Blazar or Greatjoy

For UA-cam creators maybe. Anamorphics is more so for creators who do commercials, short films, etc
Where does it say it is for YT creators? It’s for professionals.

Just anamorfake it.

dude you have to try it in a affordable cameras, we don't care about this super expensive camera, it gets to away from our real experience
