OMG! This is the greatest video ever! It has a ton of legends playing together. Glen David Andrews is playing trombone, I think her name is Dorzeen singing. She is currently on Royal st every weekend and I see members of her band. This is a classic video with tons of legends. Thank you for sharing.
Oh WOW thanks for this! Our favorite band in N.O. This was before Katrina when the musicians who lived in the old projects still had their homes. After Katrina the gov't boarded up homes that weren't even damaged, bulldozered them with peoples' stuff still inside, and built fancy condos for rich people. Of course hundreds of thousands of blacks couldn't come back to N.O. because their homes were GONE. Horrible! This is the way I love to remember New Orleans, when the REAL PEOPLE were still there.
That is Doreen on the clarinet and vocals. Wolf on Bone, that isn't GDA on the bone, but this is an amazing lineup, I am glad you caught it and filmed.
Great video of a much loved local musician (who left us too soon) doing his thing with friends. The guitarist standing next to Seva Venet is Eddie Tenderloin, who plays regularly with Doreen at Royal & St. Peter Streets.

I'm pretty sure the trombone player is known as "Wolf" but not sure I recognize him without his sideburns. And that standing guitar player I think is Paul. He used to jam with Ancestro and other street bands.

Anthony (Tuba Fats) Lacen is seated most of the time in this video and is playing an all brass sousaphone. The fellow standing and playing a fiberglass (white) sousaphone and tamborine is Doreen Ketchen's husband Lawrence.
I have a video of Doreen Keetchins playing in front of Rouse's where she holds a single note for 25 seconds. Try to sing a single note for 25 seconds and see how far you get.
I think Tuba Skinny, under the lead of Shane Cohn on cornet, have captured the old sound of 1920s even better than these guys. You cannot think of them as Bad by any measure. They are a delight to most old timers.
Not bad, just a different style. Tuba Skinny band went back to the old records, Tuba Fats had years playing in many bands all of his life - it all shows in the music, it is all jazz, all good.
