Will it run after 30 years
Will it run
Someone donate a workbench to this guy. He’s frickin’ welding in his lap. Nice work. Cool build.
I really think he would not use it... Well not for welding. Probably to prop something up perhaps. He just uses what he has and makes it happen.
Probably wouldn't be the first time he's caught his britches on fire. I've worked this way for years...engineerin' by the seat of your pants.
There's no way He could build one if He needed it
Just like some of the Old Timers no doubt...
I've never seen that b4! He must have steel balls!
This is so much fun. MIG welding against your thigh is just so special
Very happy looking forward to the cuda video
Gifted insanity for sure, great rescue fabrication.
CUDA!!CUDA!!CUDA!
This is an awesome build but please do the the Cuda first, plz plz plz! :) Love the channel!
Gotta hand it to him, no grass growing under his feet.
I like feet 😌👍
@@maggs131
Are you 10?
@@xmo552 would that make it ok?
@@maggs131
You've got issues.
@@xmo552 that's an understatement lol a lot of people like feet dude. Its only as weird as you make it. Chances are 1 or 2 people you know personally have a poo fetish 😉👍
When I was his age,There were no cell phones ,Wire feed welders, Plasma cutters ,Wish we would have had this stuff them,Acetylene and oxygen was all we had,Rough welding and no battery powered cutters,Grinders, Etc, Man I look back and all I see it burn marks from popping metal on my arms and chest/neck and a lot of scars.
Love the old trucks with diesel engines 👍💪👍💪👍💪
I love seeing these old trucks back on the road. Your accent sounds like home to me.
The diamond t was probably the single coolest looking truck ever built. I'm psyched to see this thing coming together. You do some awesome work dude 👍✌️🇺🇲
To be honest diamond made amazing looking trucks. But in my opinion international had better looking trucks (but I'm biased since my first vehicle was a s160 school bus)
Partial to White Superpower trucks myself.
Super master, you bring these old girls back to there glories.
Dude, you're tough. You got guts doing this by yourself without even having a lift. Much respect. This is a super ambitious project for the tools you have to work with. It will be really cool if you can pull it off. I remember the first video on this truck. It sucked that the motor was roached, but it made it a good candidate for a custom build. I'm glad you are saving the truck.
I learned more watching this video than I have in 6 months of tech school.
Awesome work! putting this together all by yourself too!
Wow this guy can work. Hard doing this all on your own.
Those fenders look good!!!
I've watched many of your "will it run" vids and enjoyed them. First of this format I've seen, and I'd love to see more like this. Maybe even show more of the work and give some lessons in the process by explaining the steps you're taking and why you're taking them, like what Mustie1 does. Either way, I'll definitely enjoy the videos and I have subscribed.
I don’t know how old you are, but it’s awesome seeing you tackling these old vehicles. I wish we had more your age interested in these.
Dude…..you need a helper…or two. I am really enjoying the process. Shows determination and not a little bit of home spun dialog.
I always look forward to another post. Great work. Keep it up cause your channel is growing. Thank you.
This trucks gonna be amazing!
You’re a madman 😂😂 The s*** you tackle is insane. Great channel!
I'm hooked that's a sweet truck great work
Amazing work on this unit.
You are good mechanic and more than that. You have learnt good in school..
The fact that you do this by yourself is amazing! I would love to work with you and assist your creations, if only I lived closer!
I love things close and farther away
I was thinking the same thing, If I lived close to this guy he would have to file a restraining order to keep me away.
Can’t wait for next video part 2
Let’s go
I dig your channel keep up the good work
Very interesting to watch your progress without any help. One man band 👍😎
For someone as young as you,you certainly have a keen eye for doing impeccable metal fabricating on an early model vehicle.I don’t think you’d see many older generations even attempting the caliber type of work you’re doing.
I’m really liking what I’m seeing come together there and hope you continue on these restoration projects.
You just need the right stuff. I had a classmate in the 70s that restored a 1940s Willys jeep from WW2.
you get so much work done for just one guy, youre a legend
Awesome man keep up the badass work
Loving your work , best wishes from England , and thanks for sharing the rebuild of this wonderfull old American truck with us .
I like it, big ole vintage truck, cool cuda, ranchero and will it run. I'm ready 👍
You are nailing this truck with your fabricating. Thanks for sharing your content. Looking forward to the next video.
I like how he's always saying " we did this", "we're going to .." etc and it's only ever himself doing everything 😂 what a badass
Yeah he works the way I would If I was doing something like that it would be me and me. You learn how to use some work aids for balance and support, jacks or a hoist. It does take a little longer.
Great looking build. The front of that truck is simply a classic!
sure hope ya keep addin to your videos so everyone can see the end result awesome build so far
I simply love the Diamond T's , I parcially restored a 1949 1.5 ton and sold it to a Cement Co.
This was great to watch, and I am looking forward to the next session
That's one awesome build right there, very cool
Love that your putting a diesel in it . Following this build
I WANT MORE OF THIS ! NO OFFENSE BUT YOU CAN ONLY WATCH WILL IT RUN SO MANY TIMES BEFORE IT GETS OLD . GOOD JOB SO FAR . SO WHEN YOU SAY WE YOU REALLY MEAN YOURSELF , I HAVE YET TO SEE ANYONE HELP YOU .
This is gonna be one awesome truck. And the Cuda is looking good too. Real talent with that fabrication
Man these videos are awesome and inspiring. The progression in one video is astonishing, and being someone who’s worked on vehicles I know this wasn’t just a two day project so hats off to you man for the dedication
I love the old heavy duty wheels they used to put on pickups. My 57 Powerwagon had split rims. Even the ancient grave digger tires were still driveable. Hard as rocks.
Makes me wish I had a garage large enough for that and not just the model a and some tools and electric unicycles.
I do have a 38 gmc 1.5 ton I need to put a deck on of some sort so I will keep watching your build for inspiration.
Nice work
You could use some kind of overhead jib crane. They're not too expensive. I like your work, I don't want you to hurt your back. I love this truck.
How beautiful that truck would look with an OEM restoration. Sad no one does them anymore.
Fantastic stuff bro, can't wait to see her done
You're like the Indiana Jones of antique auto revivals! Exploring all manner of terrain for abandoned vehicles, pack-rats running everywhere, spontaneous engine fires and in this episode, butt-clenching lap-welding...can't wait for more! 🤓
I think you are well on your way to being the next the next Ian Roussel. With that shop full of Harbor Freight tools, you are the working man's champion! American ingenuity and imagination building really cool projects. What an awesome way to bring that old truck back to life. Carry on ol' buddy!
5.9 Cummins makes everything better. I put one in my '78 Bronco, it works very well.
Very talented guy..
Very nice old truck and nice job.
lovely front grill...great job
You have so many cool and unique projects. I only recently found your channel, but plan to go back and watch all your older videos.
Awesome. Can’t wait to see the finished product. Well done.
Good basis for your project. Great metal working skills. Going to be a great truck.
I love the will it runs, I’m enjoying the cuda, but this one is my favorite series so far
That is coming together like both trucks want to live again :o)
I was bummed to see that Diamond T cut apart, but, hey, it's your truck, I'm sure it will turn out nice!
Now that I watch the video, looks like the Diamond T chassis was in bad shape, I work most of the time by myself too, sometimes it really sucks!!.. y'all be safe!! God Bless!!
TRUCK IS GOING TO HAVE A RADICAL LOOK TO IT!!! FENDERS LOOK GREAT! IT"S GOING TO BE A UNIQUE RIDE!!!
itll be nice to see that old truck with some modern power, thatll make it a super truck for sure
Love the fender extension!
Looking forward to next part! This is gonna be a nice truck! 💪🏼😎 Great job!
Just found your channel....keep em coming!
I replaced a rusted out 95 dodge 4X4 cabin with a 1950 Diamond T cabin that was in a complete factory condition. Right down to the original paint because this old T had been stored under a man's home and had never seen a day of weather. The why it was stored there is a mystery but beggars are not choosers. I spent most of a month getting it to set perfect and still keep the day job. Once it was setting sweet, it kind of fell into place and made its owner a happy man. I used vintage air in the T so he could do the snow bird.... live in alaska and drive south in the winter to texas. I must of done a decent job as I heard people say... Wow, how can a rig like that not be made in production? Come on folks, not many 5.9 cummins engines around in 1950 to my recollection. They even argued with me that it was a factory build and I was the builder which no one would believe. The guy I did this job for was one happy man as it did look like one of my finer builds... but only one of a good many. I think using channel is a wise decision for doing something like what your doing. One thing though I wish factories had done was give us a choice between the married or divorced transfer cases
What an awesome build! Looks like you could do with an extra pair of hands, too!
Awesome build look forward to next video
Myself I am building a 1954 international pickup with side step rear tub
Bill Qld Australia 🇦🇺
Love your vids, nice project..that model 201 Diamond T had a Hercules QXLD-3 flat head originally, I ran a resto shop back in the 1970s... even then you could NOT get parts for them (easily)..Smart move to retro it up, they were a quality rig
Good work!
This is gonna be a sweet Frankentruck. He kind of reminds me of stories about my grandpa from Arkansas. He was a pro welder in the 1920s-1960s.
“I knew that was going to happen” 🤣 Been there!!! This build is an interesting one that’s for sure!
The diamond t is going to be cooool.
Damn truck is gonna be slick as bacon grease !!!
Sure do know what you are doing with that metal work! Can wait to see what is coming on this old girl!
As a fan of your channel I appreciate the small 20 minute window into your daily routine on projects that alot of time and effort just for that small window That is going to be a sharp truck when finished
Love those stretched fenders bud. Great videos!
Thank you
Dude that’s going to be one beast of a truck! I can’t wait to see more updates videos on that bad boy!👌😎👍great job!
Great Work, very talented!
I subbed up a while ago for one of the "will it start" videos, and man, is this recent stuff different! I loved the humour in those videos, made me LOL a lot. Then you introduced the 'cuda. Then I realised just what a metal master you were.
Great content, loving this all the way from the UK.
THANKS AWSOME BUILD GUYS...
Dam that dimand looks mean she's gonna be a bad ass rig
Diamond T, the toughest looking trucks. Nice work!
Excellent video Jennings :) also be looking forward more videos on 3 projects too !
To have those skills at your age is impressive. Cant believe you welded in your lap though. 🫨🥵
I love your show.
Definitely going to be an awesome build!!!
Great content , anyone that has ever started a build like this ( design builds ) knows its a puzzle with a lot of pieces ! Fabricating is an art in itself fit up takes time . Frame, drivetrain, and body .
Yea pretty sure when he says “we” he means he will be doing it all by himself. 👊
Great job
Won’t lie I still enjoy watching it though keep it up you will get there practice makes perfect 🤙
That’s gonna be a beast! I like it! Can’t wait to see the finished product.
Good work sir, love your talent.
i'm always impressed by the sheer confidence and skill that you have man. This would melt my mind with all the things that could (would) go wrong
Hell yeah brother. Looking good
Just found the channel subbed, the lap welding table is priceless 😅
Man you are ambitious.
Very impressed! You make it look easy.
Just couldn't resist adoring the chrome shining in the snow! Wonder how would it look like a crew cab? It would make use of them 2x6's length.
