- Learn to crochet this decorative little candy basket in just a few minutes with one of the easiest crochet stitches. Great for storing small items, and here’s one Easter crochet project idea for you!
Materials:
Yarn: Any worsted weight yarn (I used 3mm cotton macrame cord)
Hook sizes: 4.00mm and 3.75mm

Thank you! This was easy but with a little bit of challenge which is perfect for me. I didn't have a 3.75mm hook so I just did a tighter tension with a 4mm hook.

I used 6mm and 5.75mm hooks which made it easier for me to work with the 3mm cord. This resulted in a larger basket, of course. Somehow I wasn’t able to squeeze in 8 single crochets around each handle, so did only 6.

Thank you! You can, but your resulting stitch will look different, and your basket may not have the same rounded shape as mine, so I highly recommend that you follow the pattern :)
