I’m 58 years old, and I’ve seen RUSH 6 times. This kid is absolutely incredible! What a talent. Keep up the good work.
I never got to see them myself, but I have watched countless vids of Neal doing his thing and you are absolutely right, this kid is amazing
Bruh. I watched your one take recording of Lateralus yesterday and I was absolutely blown away, then I look at your channel to see that you've also done this. You, my friend, are incredible. The amount of practice this must have taken is quite possibly the most impressive thing I've ever seen in all my 29 years. 10/10, I'm gonna show this to everyone I know.
One of the few drummers that play it like Exit stage left on this part here 3:06 awesome
Wow. Been listening to this album for a long time and you just crushed it. Wow.
I love the look of sheer joy when he nails it. The look on your face after YYZ (“I just killed that”) is so fun to watch. You remind me of my cousin- by 8th grade he was playing this album and he went on to Berklee School of music on a full percussion scholarship only to quit drums a few years after he graduated. 🤦🏼♂️ Keep it up, young man!
You are awesome, Tyler!
Whoa, incredible job! First TOOL and now Rush! Wondering what stuff we might see you explore onwards from here. Would personally love to see you cover Primus. Tim, Jay and Brain are all amazing in their own right.
Saw the tool cover was amazing then dream theatre one now this. This dude is playing the top bands well known for there complex drumming rifts. Think peart will be looking down smiling Well done
Holy MFC! I think Geddy and Alex have just found their new guest drummer! I would love to see you join them on a new live tour! ❤
Ngl this is more impressive than the Lateralus playthrough
excellent... three fingers of the Macallan Neil would raise a drink to the stars... & yes we are always looking for a part two... continued studies and success in what ever you pursue with passion what ever mission you explore.. enjoy the journey.
your tool and rush covers are amazing. if only you lived near my in PA
This is how you cover people...
He missed one snare hit!
Booyah
I'm subscribed
This is nuts. I used to play this album through YYZ but not near this well. Amazing man. This needs more views
I don't even know what to say....so good!
Absolutely incredible. Your snare tone is killer and reminds me of Danny Carey’s tone.
Crazy! Having such a deep understanding of so many specific drummers' styles as shown on this channel is very commendable. I'm sure this album was super fun to play. :)
dude, you're freaking amazing
So really cool! drums & cams!
Nice job. Rush is one of my all time favorites and Red Barchetta is one of the only songs I can actually play of Neil’s. Marvelous playing!
..Same here dude
Absolute legend! You’re gonna have to start covering animals as leaders soon haha
This is amazing!! Good job Tyler! Hope to see more of you in the future
Man that sucks that you couldn't upload the whole thing. I never could get into Rush, but they have some great songs. Neal is also one of the greatest drummers ever. Great work on this Ty, Keep Slayin'
Thanks so much man! Yeah it doesn't really make sense as to why it doesn't block the video in two sections as opposed to one full video, but either way it was super fun to record!
You looked like you had a blast. I’m stoked for fear innoculum. Specifically what you do with chocolate chip trip
Nailed it dude! Great job.
Great cover man! You have great taste in music as well.
You're awesome dude!
Wow amazing! Been waiting for this, nailed it!
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Youre an absolute G! you play the most challenging songs and shredd throught them like a boss! Im amazed
Doesnt matter under which video ill write this because it applies on all of them
Your channel which I just discovered a day ago, has become my favorite channel on UA-cam. I’m a musician, and I am totally blown away by your talent. I love the polyrhythms. etc 👏👏👏🔥 I don’t even know anyone your age that as accomplished what you’ve done. Keep it up man.
I've watched quite a few videos now, and you consistently keep blowing my mind. It's also really neat/fun watching you play (as extremely well as you do) *and* listen to a full album. You really get invested. Anyway, keep doing more!
PS: Just tossing it out there, are you familiar with Billy Rymer/Dillinger Escape Plan, or Abe Cunningham/Deftones? Some really amazing stuff between the two, and amazing drum work in both bands. Rymer is a mind-melt --> ua-cam.com/video/UeBFEanVsp4/v-deo.html
Beast!!!
Tremendo...!!!! Gracias
Bravo
NICE.. YOUR KIT SOUNDS GREAT 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘. R.I.P NEIL “PROFESSOR” PEART 😇 R.I.P. RUSH 😇😇😇 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Tyler keeping us on check.
BRO making the future ... SOOOOOO good
Bravo!!
Impressive challenges you have lined up for yourself. Has your memory always been stellar? Or do you make charts?
Bruh, we need a stick flip at 6:35. It's in the rules. ;)
Thanks
omg this is just something you do!? So much effort to do so many albums. I was expecting j u s t lateralus, but naw you hitten everything
You should do some of the Led Zeppelin stuff! I think you could pull off John Bonham :)
For fun play subdivisions great drumming there. I saw Danny carry fill in on drums for Getty and Alex at a music fest for Tom Sawyer I believe - 2112. Get on the horn to Toronto and onto Redrocks
🤘🔥🔥🤘
Killer
Someone send this to Alex! ❤
See, I've been telling other drummers to learn Tom Sawyer beat for beat and how it would make them better drummers...guess they're scared, but you...brave...you did it, great effort.
Have you ever considered doing more Dream Theater?
Dream theatre is ass
Bottom line, super impressive chops. Nobody does Neil like Neil.
Thank you! I totally agree, I really admire Mr. Peart.
Dream theater next?!
Someone call or get ahold of Getty Lee in Toronto and Alex Lifeson and if they don’t have mind block it’s on!
Do some zeppelin!
