Joking aside......Pro, is what was given by this band to the audience and all of us watching on the net. The Drummer Lady kicked ass on them drums!!!!!!! 10/10!!!!!!!
One of the most perfectly executed covers of one of my favorites songs from Rush Thank you for putting so much interest in making it sound like the original. It was wonderful!
I'm very thankful to exceptional cover bands who really capture nearly every aspect of another musician's licks, singer's moves (there is a Van Halen cover band where the singer can actually do the flying splits off the riser - in my opinion, they are exceptional) and keep their music honest and alive with respectful approaches to every recording and performance.
I wish i could say the words that are as awesome as u deserve You are amazing, ive been playing 40 years but cant do that, your my favorite drummer since neil, male or female, and your a beutiful girl, thank you Kevaustex
Oh my goodness. Exceptional performance. I'm a guitarist but, that ride cymbal sounds so freaking amazing. The overall drum sound is great too. But that ride was standing out. I still need to learn the guitar solos fully to finally know how to play this song but, It's a fun one to play.
Amazing 🙌👏👏👏. seen you 3 times. This view really highlights the different rhythms at play here. I've no idea how you do it! much respect for your talent.
Splendid! What a great rendition. I have been learning from Neil's work for over 40 years. Let me discuss one aspect of Neil's approach that even Joel Stevenett and Mike Portnoy miss. Observe just how much power or force Neil applied to create his sound. It was tremendous. Read his own notes online about how he had blisters from recording Tom Sawyer and other songs on the Moving Pictures album. I saw him up close on November 9, 1982 during the Signals tour. Every drum head had deep dents, and I don't know how they didn't split. Even the cymbals...yes, even the cymbals were dented everywhere. The hi-hat had a deep rut where he struck the most. Watch the Exit Stage Left live concert video. Especially during the By-Tor, 2112, In The Mood Medley, observe how much power went into creating the sound. It's quite a workout to try to achieve.
You were awesome and in lock-step with the bassist. The guitarist got lost a few times. But, then again, we're talking about Alex Lifeson. Still, it makes it harder for the other two people to stay on time. I could play better even without having played Rush in over 20 years. You were too awesome. Neil smiles down from above when you take the throne. One criticism: you need more cymbals. :))
I know what you mean, Neil played in an extremely hostile aggressive manner which was integral to Rush, and difficult for even a male drummer to replicate. All three members of Rush played in that way in fact! Having said that, Jamie's accuracy, stick control and general chops are excellent.
Jamie, absolutely incredible, you’re the best. 👍👍👍🥳

Awesome job to all 3! Not many bands wrote and performed like RUSH so be able to pull off their songs is amazing.

Seemingly effortless accuracy.

Valiant effort !!!!!
Even women are inspired by Rush!
WOW 😲
Ever written SRO Management in Toronto? You should.
I've done what you did at 3:22 so many times... clipping that ride cymbal has got to be one of the most annoying things to happen while drumming hahah
BRAVOOOO JAMIE!!!!
Thank youuuuu! 😊
She’s unbelievably good
DAAAAAAMN 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Neil would be proud!

Thank you! Haha, more cymbals, more percussion, more drums, more electronics... Getting there slowly but surely ;) if I was rich, I'd have the lot!
Jamie Dunleavey is the hottest female drummer I've ever seen and the most talented......GO JAMIE!!!
Rank her over Meytal.
Amazing but there’s no power in the sticks!

With Canada being the second largest country in the world you could be more specific.
Lakeside Park, St Catharine's, Ontario ;)
you got dem mad skillz woman :) great band and great rendition of a monumental masterpiece! too bad the recording doesnt capture the sound well
Paha, why thank you very much :) Acht I know, can't really hear the wee ghost notes, but at least you can see them 😆
No pick slid on the solo 😞
