I love this sing. I owned a MGB car when I was in my early twenties. With top down I would cruise in my car with this song blasting. What a ride. I am 71 years old now, but this song will forever be in my heart and memories.
To me this is one of the few truly perfectly written and performed songs ever. Never get tired of it and it still brings back feels and nostalgia i long forgotten.
Their voices are clearly totally different from that of their younger selves, and that is expected to happen with everyone. Also, in this show, you can barely hear Curt singing. 2022 has a much better audio work than this one.
I was there on Saturday have wanted to see them since the 80's but timing was never right however finally at the age of 57 I managed it all I can say is it was worth the wait these guys are so tight really are up there with the best dont ever stop making this beautiful music 🎉🎉🎉
I’m only a teenager but this song gives me the realization that im definitely aging. Since i was a little girl my parents have played their music around me, I’d always hear it in the now abandoned malls I’d skip through with my mom. Man time flies by quickly.
@@lorenmorgan1931 hey Loren, you're not wrong, I think they're 61 or 62 now. I was 16 when I first heard them, back in 1982. Now I feel old, well, at 57, I probably am haha !! Shame we have to age but the music is sooo good ! Cheers
I introduced my students to TFF and they were amazed! ❤ Curt & Roland still got it. So talented & timeless. They are my favorite band for a reason. 👏🏼👍🏼
It is so great to see them! I got to see them twice in one year after thinking I'd never seen them live. I took my daughter with me to see them the very first time. Carina Round is the backup vocalist that also sings with Maynard in Puscifer. Michael Wainwright has also been a backup vocalist and does an amazing falsetto head voice on the track Woman in Chains. Roland looks amazing and happy. He was widowed after his wife passed away which left the group taking a break from touring for a while. He is now married to a beautiful and talented young lady named Emily Roth. Her photography is amazing. Roland has two sons, Raoul and Pascal are also musicians and artists. Pascal resembles his father and has a TikTok and is in a group called Quarterboy. Raoul is a contemporary painter. He is also the 2019 winner of the Art Gemini Prize. Roland's full name is Roland Jaime Orzabal de la Quintana and he has an upcoming birthday on 22 August. Great as always Tears for Fears!
I live just over a mile from Victoria Park in Leicester and could hear it , not loudly but could defo hear the music ! I was too late to buy a ticket , which was totally stupid of me as I listen to radio 2 everyday in my car and knew tickets were on sale months ago, bugger lol !! Looks great in the dark with all the lights ! Love TFF, first heard them back in 82 and this track is one of my faves of theirs.
London road side I'm just glad something like this has happened maybe there could be more stuff like this in the future instead of it being 99% in Nottingham
So blessed Curt is my cousin! Sorry I couldn’t make the concert mate, Shaun and John told me Bananarama before you wasn’t all that great! Hope to see you next year
I wanna cry even tho I wasn’t born on the 80s I love this song and it makes me tear up hearing it again and I can see the joy in his eyes singing again 😭this makes me so emotional omg 🥹
Wow this is my favorite 80s song and they sound soo good!! Their vocals are good too! They don’t make music like the 80s 😢 and many of those great artists won’t be around forever
We had the best music and musicians in the 80s. It was an amazing experience growing up then. For all y'all too young to remember, you can at least listen to our music here on UA-cam. Cheers from America.
Descobri a música por acaso, quando LORDE fez um cover para Trilogia: Jogos Vorazes, que inclusive tem uma energia totalmente oposta da original... Desde então, vira e mexe paro pra ouvir!

That's awesome! I was about 8 or 9 when this came out and only had a little fm radio taped to the handlebars of my bmx, but the feeling was the same 👍
God bless you man I hope your day is going good 😊❤

Such a timeless song with great musicianship. 🙌🏾
This still sounds great 40 years on, quality music.
Thumbs up to these gentlemen, not many can retain the same vocals after 40 years

I was a young mom with 2 small children when this group was all over the radio in the 80’s. I was blasting their music on car trips. Looove TFT.
When classic never gets old... ❤
❤ this song....MAKES ME HAPPY 😊😊😊😊😊

Holy shit!!!! They haven't changed one bit. Always loved how they put so much emotion into all their songs
Hey Patrick, I was thinking, ohh, they've not aged well !! Still sound great though 🤗
Childhood song from the 1980s🎶🎼☺️😄😁😬
Watching live on Saturday night brought tears to my eyes 😭 very emotional seeing them bang track after track with studio perfect sound.
@@coffeeguy6673lol they arent spring chickens, but hell I was a child when this song came out and here I am turning 45 in a few weeks lol. Time Flys

If one was to have one song that defines the 80's sound, this is it for me. Beautiful song and as good as it ever was, the guys sound fantastic.
WOW. What a SUPERB set they did. Great to hear all those brilliant old songs. Also loved the new ones.
One of the greatest songs of all time
One of My favorite songs of all time, Thank you Tears for fears!

Decades in the industry and still no use of playback or Auto tune. Lady's and gentlemen, we still have great bands out there. Time to celebrate
Beautiful song
Música favorita dos anos 80. Que banda!
Essa música me trás paz toda vez quando escuto ❤
BRAVO TEARS FOR FEARS!!! FROM THE PHILIPPINES!!!

I live just across the road from it and now with the window open can definitely make out 80% of the sound so didn't need a ticket 😂
