I think the cross check altitudes are correct. UN542 is .3NM from the runway as the chart indicated. I think if we added 0.3 NM to the distance while cross checking altitude it seemed pretty correct.
Are you able to share the settings you have on CDU prior to set up for IAN? I am getting LOC and G/P. It needs to be FAC and G/P. Not sure what is wrong with my settings
How much would I have to pay you to do a video setting up the 787 for an RNAV landing on runway 26L at CYVR using the PEMSU transition. CYVR is Vancouver. This is more difficult than just putting in the ILS frequency.
On the 777 and 787 that's not required as the fly by wire will automatically trim out any pitching moment caused by varying engine thrust, unlike the 737.

You forgot to mention why you set alt to 500

so to be clear: for RNAV lnav/vnav approaches you don’t have to arm appr mode unless your doing IAN?

IAN makes no difference for the minimum, it's just an internal way of flying it.
