To let EVERYONE know, this is only two charactera played on scenario A. The video doesn't portray anything from scenario B and DEFINITELY didn't portray the true ending and final birkin fight only showcased in scenario B. This game was amazing it definitely felt like classic resident evil, i can not wait for resident evil 3 remake shit will be insane especially with nemesis
The music and running away during that alligator part just reminded me too much of Killer Croc's sewer section from Batman Arkham Asylum. Shame that they cut the moths, crows and giant spiders. I don't buy their "It looks goofy compared to the rest of the games realism" excuse considering they left the alligator in.
For real that's what makes Resident Evil, Resident Evil... Giant spiders, murderous crows, giant poisonous moths etc etc etc... They cut them and made the G Embryo a regular enemy in the sewer... Lame... Didn't even give the Tyrant 2 Claws and the one he does have isn't even a full claw it's barely developed LOL. Even the alligator looks kind of like the E infected alligators from the RE7 DLC. They should have just made it giant instead of giant and deformed. but yeah they knew if they didn't put that giant alligator in there we would Fuckin riot. I'm pretty sure they've admitted this in more than a few at interviews.
I've always felt like Birkin's second form is the one where he truly lost his humanity. When his original head is replaced by that monster's head, whatever was truly left of Birkin was gone.
He is the creator of the zombies, and in creating them he turned himself into this, a creature like the zombies, but smarter and with a small remnant of his humanity. So he’s pretty much the antagonist of this game
I love the little details they added to Birkin's first fight: You can hear him shout ''Help me!'' and whenever he's stunned, the bone-like spikes retract, indicating that he's fighting the infection.

Capcom has said in recent interviews from the last year that they are considering ressurecting other dead games depending on the success of this, one of them being Dino Crisis, we can only hope they do it!
Not gonna lie, G1 Birkin pissed me off. Like "i see you have some ammo, watch me do my best sponge impression" i kept going 'is it the head? Is it the eye? Is it the head?' Also, where'd he get that handgun? Im playing claire but ive seen people with sub-machine guns and up graded handguns by this point...
Umbrella really is something in this remake, Birkin basically being demolished by pistols throughout the game while lunging around like a disturbed Ox. Haha cudos to you Boss Fight Database :)- Oh yeah, subbed!

Thoughts on all the Bosses. I played on normal. - Birkin 1 = Decent, liked his design but it was too easy. - Alligator = Cool, but is hardly a boss - Birkin 2 = missed opportunities to make an epic boss fight, for me it should have been like the big zombie you fight in the Arena on Dying light. - Birkin 3 = LOVED IT - Mr. X = I mean you just wait, shoot and then is over. Cool design tho. In conclusion i liked that all the bosses need a strategy and you dont have to just shoot at them like the most of the old games. So feel free to write down here your opinion on the bosses. Dont my bad english or error.

@@SeventhheavenDK Claire bosses are basically the same as leon, only with the addition of the G4 (is basically a moldem Lucas Baker). On the design of Mr. X it think that if it wasn't just one fire arm it would be Amazing. I revisited this bosses and i think that the boss fight is pretty cool
I like William's look in Darkside Chronicles better; less RE7-esque and closer to the original, however I love the 4 barrel M66 Rocket Launcher in this Remake and blowing Mr. X in half!
It’s really cool how they go from being horrified of normal zombies, to staring down a nine foot tall mutated scientist and being unphased. Character growth in Resident evil 2 has always astonished me. (Not even punning about William either.) And of course... they escape with smiles on their faces. *HOW JADED THEY ALL MUST BE.* GOOD ON YOU CAPCOM! 22 YEARS LATER AND THE MAGIC IS BACK!!!
It was never a fight in the original game either lol. All you had to do was run, throw the explosive barrel on the ground, wait for the Alligator to grab it and then shoot once.
@@Amiisov But you can actually fight him non-scripted. If A character can't pull out the gas tank in time, he/she will have to drive him off with conventional firepower. B character can find and finish him off for real. Stop trying to downplay the original.

It convey the sense of urgency much better than a simple dynamic cutscene. 4. You get ammos for your trouble. "Once you learn exactly what to do it's just a simple procedure" This is why you're not in the gamemaking industry and any who thinks like you end up making bad games.
Don't worry the games only scary the first 6 playthroughs after that it's kinda not. Just dont put headphones on or you'll run the risk of shitting yourself.
@@thedoomslayer5739 Yes they did. From what I seen so far I only seen Claire face off all forms of G and Leon doesn't. Also, it seems you have to get certain conditions to fight the final form of G. The ending is incomplete in this video if you havn't noticed.

Just 1 thing..they use the popular back camera like re4 and the rest..but why not also the dodge feature...and the special move when an enemy is down or groggy?

No zapping system means, there will only be separate campaigns for Leon and Claire, you can still expect both characters to meet at certain points and for some decisions to impact playthroughs but for the most parts there are only two campaign routes for our heroes. I'm not sure about Ada's story but sure will be exciting.
man this game is hard.. playing in hard level is so fun, from now on all RE should be like this one.. 3rd person, great puzzle, no auto save, oh yeaah..

There is already a scenario B. boss fight database only did both chars on scenario A. I can confirm as their is a final fight against birkin in the train after tyrant. He only spawns if you beat both scenarios.
If we don't count Mr. X and Alligator... the William Birkin is the only boss in the game. In Claire B, Birkin really is the only boss in the whole game, and he gets stronger and scarier with each battle. AND I LOVE THIS CONCEPT! ^_^ I wish more games did that.
I hope they include the DLC where we Play as Ada. Like before she met Leon and Claire. While Leon,Claire, & Ada still in Racoon City, Jill ty to escape from Nemesis, HUNK and the Other Agent took the Sample of T-Virus, & Chris try to Shutdown the Umbrella. Aftermath, the Cult Los Illuminados and Louis Find the Fossil of Las Plagas, Ada that presumed Death has to take the Sample of Plagas, Krauser Betrayed RPD to Join Wesker, S.T.A.R.S. has been Dismantled after the "Sudden Death" of Wesker & Jill. The TRICELL company work alongside Wesker to Rebuilt the Umbrella and Produce the UROBOROS, Neo Umbrella was Reform with the Founder was none other than "Ada Wong" who work alongside with Derek C. Simmons to kill the President of RC and Spread the New Form of Virus/C-Virus into Chinatown Population and also hunting down the Cure of C-Virus Jack Muller the "Son of Wesker". After the fall of Neo Umbrella and C-Virus destroyed, the New Bioterrorist Organization named "The Connections" was built and start to mass Produce the E-Type Virus called Mold with the New B.O.W. that resemble a Girl named Eveline and Start to use her newfound power to infect the Baker Family in Lousiana,Dulvey and all the Resident on that Area. Also at 42:48 i think it's a shame they didn't use the orginal design for Williams forth form where he becomes a horrifying quadrupedal monster. The idea was what was left of William had finally died and only the beast remained.
Does anybody know if I use the easiest difficulty level, to destroy all Mr. Raccoon Statues, will the infinite combat knifes apply on normal mode? I'm beginning to think I should have tried for the infinite combat knives first before playing on normal. I figure it would be easier to have them going to for the 3.5 requirement for samurai edge infinite ammo.

Jon Murphy no but they did say it took them an INSANE amount of work to make it work. In fact they almost cut it from the game at one point

Just 1 thing..they use the popular back camera like re4 and the rest..but why not also the dodge feature...and the special move when an enemy is down or groggy?

No zapping system means, there will only be separate campaigns for Leon and Claire, you can still expect both characters to meet at certain points and for some decisions to impact playthroughs but for the most parts there are only two campaign routes for our heroes. I'm not sure about Ada's story but sure will be exciting.

There is already a scenario B. boss fight database only did both chars on scenario A. I can confirm as their is a final fight against birkin in the train after tyrant. He only spawns if you beat both scenarios.

In Claire B, Birkin really is the only boss in the whole game, and he gets stronger and scarier with each battle.

Does anybody know if I use the easiest difficulty level, to destroy all Mr. Raccoon Statues, will the infinite combat knifes apply on normal mode? I'm beginning to think I should have tried for the infinite combat knives first before playing on normal. I figure it would be easier to have them going to for the 3.5 requirement for samurai edge infinite ammo.
