I'm with you. Too many people these days are up debate whether or not remakes should adapt every last thing faithfully play-by-play. But if that's the case, you're better off playing the original game with an emulator. I like this style where they expanded on what needed to be expanded.
Some of these bosses had huge health pools on Hardcore, which is a good thing. This was a proper remake. Hoping they can redo RE Zero like this. Switching from Billy to Rebecca was actually a cool thing.

I didn’t feel any dread or worry fighting any of the bosses in RE4 remake because of this. I think having a switchable load out between billy and Rebecca could be refreshing.
The other Verdugo is called the "U-3" in a file. We also don't get to see what happens to it, since Ramón doesn't fuse with it like he does in the original. This screams DLC boss.
Ahhh.. the nostalgia. This was one of my most favorite games I've played. Never forget beating the game and then replaying it with the Chicago typewriter with my surround sound turned up.
I'm a resident evil fan but like this game is seriously just a fun game to play with weapon upgrades, cool side missions, insane mini boss and boss fights. I'm just getting to the first giant/ogre ya gotta face. And so far it's already my favorite game probably ever other than my Pokemans 😂 absolutely the best shooter role playing game in the last 20 years.
Outbreak was 🔥 I was really bad at games at that age tho - so I couldn't get past the first level - but picking your teammates based on attributes was awesome
So when Resident Evil 4 first came out it was the best resident evil despite its flaws. The Remake just made it perfect in every words I honestly really hope they continue these remakes with 5 and 6 to give those games a second chance.
My god the remake really made the final battle more terrifying and added an extra final phase which I love also I like how the boss has lines in this fight compared to the original definitely a amazing upgrade
I appreciate that they took out normal enemies from spawning in the boss fights that used to have them (Plagas during Salazar, Ganados during Krauser), those were nothing but annoyances.

Loved all the boss fights in the OG Resident Evil 4 and I think I love them even more in the remake, Capcom has really done an amazing job with this game. I'm yet to play it for myself but I'm glad I can experience it on UA-cam, keep on gaming Resi fans you all rock! 🔥🙌👏👊👍🔥

The only complaint I have is the chief Mendez boss transformation, they didn't even show him transforming in this remake meanwhile we see it in the original game.
I prefer the original. Boss fights were scarier in my opinion. Mendez now talks, really? It was way more mysterious him not talking for example. You want character development and story line ? Go watch a show or a movie or read a book. This game was scary and they kinda ruined it in my opinion. Just listen to the soundtracks of the boss fights. They are something I would expect in Zelda games or whatever but not in a horror game...

It's really cool how they seem to have studied mantis shrimp, psuedoscorpions and gibbons for Mendez's redesign and animations. I also love how they went all out on the *Berserk* vibes for Saddler's monster forms.
"Resident Evil 0" and "Code Veronica" need the Remake much more than RE5 ever does. Personally i hope they work on a remake for RE CodeVeronica instead of RE5.
These bosses literally are Apexes amongst Leon but the script kills my motivation to play scripted games anymore. They all appear bulletproof at firsthand then all of a sudden after major body enhancing transformation Leon just shoots these little weapons at them till they fall vulnerable. I seriously dont understand it Lol, and yes im a Resident player and from many years back. But scripted bosses just arent entertaining anymore at all. Eldin Ring type of games really test your skill level without being guided encouraging you too be better and play better. This game just guides you to victory with dodge prompts and cutscene situations.

Watching this brings back so many memories of playing this game on my PS2 back in the day. If I hadn't just bought Wo Long Fallen Dynasty, I would pick this up.
Many things are better, something I didn't think possible. I do think the introduction of el gigante in the original was total perfection, and wish that was kept the same. The first time you see it, you feel actual awe before you even see it and thats a rare thing
Given the companion AI here and there, I'd say there's hints to an RE5 remake but it still feels a bit too recent to remake. I'd say Code Veronica deserves it more since then it would cover all the RE games with the fixed camera angles

Even though there's something I've been thinking about for a while, it's up to me oh since RE7 popularized the "cliché" that the final boss is not a "Boss" I mean that the final boss is not a character but a stage. If I'm not clear, I mean that we don't attack a moving character, but we shoot at an inert object and that we only have to avoid its slow movements?
I, for one, am perfectly fine with a giant cinematic final battle so long as its preceded by an actual real fight. And I must say, the first phase of Saddler was definitely an improvement over the original.
for me it´s the other way arround. Playing RE4 back in 2006 El Gigante was a nasty boss. I like the new design, but for me it´s less creepy. I think he looks like he had to many beer in the remake with his belly and body proportions look different. However the 2 El Gigante Bossfight in the Remake is way better than in the OG RE4.
They made Saddler look amazing in this one. In the original, he looked too cartoonish, and he was such an easy fight in my opinion. Same at the end: you grab the rocket launcher and kill the final boss, then you have to leave before the place blows up. The graphics in this are insane.

I feel like the design of the bosses in their "human" version are better ik remake, but the mutated one is better in the original, i mean literally Ramón went from being an ominous monster worthy of being the final boss of the first disc (Original RE4) to being a slug with tentacles that spits tar, such a nonsense. The story feels better but the mechanics and lil' details of the original game makes it better than his remake.
The Krauser fight was already probably the best one in the original game, but the remake makes it into an absolutely outstanding boss encounter.

They made Saddler look amazing in this one. In the original, he looked too cartoonish, and he was such an easy fight in my opinion. Same at the end: you grab the rocket launcher and kill the final boss, then you have to leave before the place blows up. The graphics in this are insane.
They all looked cartoonish in the OG, except the Garrador, the Verdugo, the Iron Maiden and Bitores Mendez.
@@Fr0staX I like Ramon fight in the new one he was way to easy in the Og but this one they made him a challenge the last boss they should make harder which I don’t understand I the two monster fight in this one tho too
That Verdugo is bada$$ in this remake, and he reminds me of the Xenomorph from Alien Isolation. Man, was he that tall?
I feel like the design of the bosses in their "human" version are better ik remake, but the mutated one is better in the original, i mean literally Ramón went from being an ominous monster worthy of being the final boss of the first disc (Original RE4) to being a slug with tentacles that spits tar, such a nonsense. The story feels better but the mechanics and lil' details of the original game makes it better than his remake.
While i cant play the remake right now, i am playing the original game, and it makes me excited to play the remake at some point!
