Best fishing channel I’ve found in a while. There are so many clickbait channels that post videos where 80% of the video is vlogging about random stuff and then 20% is actual fishing.
Congratulations on reaching the point you've reached. It takes a lot of hard work and time to achieve what youve achieved and finally be able to take a step back from the beginning roles that got the ball rolling. Keep up the great work and keep up the fun videos. Good luck!
You and Capt Scott Hughes, both sell Real estate. Fished with Scott from Everglades City to most of Charlotte Harbor. Scott's Tarpon Season is his jam season. My Brother and I are very light tackle, plugging and some live minnows. Already had are armpits pulled out from Miami to the Bahamas. Look forward to getting a few days on the water with you. Us ols fart ,still love to hear that real sing. Please keep your great videos coming, thanks again Brant. Be safe out there.
As a local of Pensacola i gotta say, we have our really great days, our good days, our ok days, and our what the heck happened kinda days. The other day my buddy caught a huge 22.5" spec (that was about 5lbs) and the next day he had 3 10lb black drums and now nothin'. I see this in a lot of your videos. Either way its fun. Tight lines!
I watch your videos alot and am def learning more and more. I started watching cause I noticed you using a toadfish rod, my mama taught the founder of toadfish in school and we fish his rods and absolutely love them.
Another great video so enjoy watching the content you put out hoping to make it out there within the next year or two God willing to do some fishing and feel confident they like to put myself on some fish because of your videos so thankful for what you do👍
energy good people makes a great day! thx for sharing awesome person! you remind me of a great friend I miss up North in Burlington Connecticut where you can land a beauty trophy trout.
Any tradesman knows that there comes a time to get out of the truck and hire someone to do the work. Both you and he need someone to run the business. A smart move, much success,
You needed that " live shrimp" , always go with what their feeding on! You still had action though. We call those lady fish "a'wa-awa here on Oahu, and we make it lomi style, or into fish patties and it's a delicacy here on " Da Islands". Keep on doing your thing and God bless you brother, love your videos!👍🍻
Fish bites are my rescue bait ..you mit think about keeping a bag of that on the boat..going to miss your fishing videos..glad you are moving on to things you enjoy..really enjoy watching your Chennal..
I had the same problem and this old man was using a bass worm and that made all the difference he limited out and I was thought a new lesson that evening
I fish a lot of lights and the best rig is a number 2 baitholder with a small piece of shrimp and a light weight. A Carolina rig with a 1/2 or 1/4 oz weight is perfect.
Just had some guys fishing our snook light... No worries although they seemed offput of me going out to the dock (with the doggies) to talk to them. Told them we have lots of snook and to fish to one side of the light not to snag the power cable, and they were very respectful!
Always u make a good video of fishing. Never boring and wish i cld go on a fishing guided trip with one of your employees or urself. Here in myrtle beach itvwould take me a week to catch what u just did in that video. Thanks for the clean no ugly potty mouth fishing videos u do like some on youtube cause my son likes fishing and really inspired me to bass fish more even tho im a saltwater angler.
So your fine to get closer to the light. I used to catch weakfish seatrout with a generator at the lighthouses. Just ease in closer u wont need LIVE bait I PROMISE u.
I have what may sound like a student question to some people, but I am ignorant to most saltwater fishing. If you find structure or wrecks etc in about 40 or so foot of water what is the best approach to fishing it? Fishing it like an offshore reef? What may you catch on it in the middle of a bay? I figure sailtops, but I figure it could be wide open in that deep of water.
Next time try to be reeling before that shrimp even hits the water at those lights and burn that surface. You can even make that shrimp jump if you work that too right👌🏽 tsunami holographic shrimp!
Good luck with your real estate business! I've been full time real estate for 7 years now, and it can also be draining! If I have a referral for Pensacola, I'll send them your way!
I’ve been smoking the crappie under white dock lights. Two nights ago when I had my 9 and 12 year old with me, a camp owner took two shots at us and threatened us if we came near his camp. I called the police and filed a report and have yet to hear from the police department two days later. I limited out with artificial bait. Have you ever had issue with a pier owner?
Nice kid ! How’s the real estate market in Pensacola ? I am actually heading to the same path .... I am taking my Massachusetts RE salesperson test later this afternoon. I have a photography business which specializes in real estate photography aerial ,exterior and interior I have a few drones and some high end cameras. Looking to get into the market save some big $$$ and relocate south eventually.
@@AnglerUpTv oh I understand I was just trying to be funny ask ya what if someone wants you you will have to tell them I'm sorry watch my video I don't blame you .ya got yourself spread thin....
I’ll be making lots more fishing videos from here on out. Shooting for every other day.
Maybe you can help me market my brand one day TEAM BRAT USMC
It's good that you recognize that you need a time out.
get it.. mangroves are bad ass too...
ok this sounds weird to say, but 6:01 sounded sorta like that mickey mouse cartoon character.

4" TTF glow in the dark shad would make a killing there. Great video.
Congratulations Brant! Good luck and God Bless! - Hedge
We're the fishing couple watching always your video sir.. Jhun and Angie from Philippines
Sad to see you hang it up for your charters. Had the privilege to be guided by you twice, had a blast each time! Wish you the best Sir!

In Mississippi the water is dirty as all get out, they love the VooDoo Shrimp. They’re about 2” or so long and are very effective for me.

Brant,
I just want to say what a smart man knowing when you are getting burnt out and having other jobs waiting for you to step into
You are my favorite channel Brant. Angler Up
I fish dock lights a lot in mobile bay and catch the majority of my fish on small flukes and on my fly rod. The love the small stuff
Flies are the ticket!
That must have been you that swamped me the other night! LOL I fish the same places.
Dock light fishing makes you a better combat angler
energy good people makes a great day! thx for sharing awesome person! you remind me of a great friend I miss up North in Burlington Connecticut where you can land a beauty trophy trout.
the trout game is ridonkeylas along the Farmington river up thru the countryside of Ct. amazing clean water spots!
canyons ect..insane
Fiddler crabs work really really good for night fishing in the lights
Brant... your the BOSS
Any tradesman knows that there comes a time to get out of the truck and hire someone to do the work. Both you and he need someone to run the business. A smart move, much success,
Use night crawlers in saltwater and see what you catch I have always wanted to do that
Never thought of that
i think they would shrivel up and die.
O’hair would like that
Give Little Sabine a look sometime, one of the best places to fish dock lights. Great video!
Michael Roblyer Will do. Haven’t hit those lights since I was a kid.
Free lining finger mullet and scaled sardines is the way to go for redfish, trout, and mangroves

Mangrove on a lure... pretty cool brant
Cool to see Layne Norton!
"Always been tough for me to get away from the ladies..." lmao

Looks in video like your 80 yds from lights, how close were you.
Really liking your vids brother!
try ultra light setup and a 1/8 crappie jigs " road runners" you catch till you get board
Really?!?! I still have a bunch of those from years ago! I'll give it a try, thanks.

U just have to do it more and match the hatch. Those lights are on everynight u might spook a few fish but I PROMISE u u will slam them.
So cool 😎

You have to be able to strike a nice balance so you don't get burned out. Remember, you have to take care of yourself
Excellent businessman!
Good luck to you!
Thanks. I will still be making lots of fishing videos.
Energy = $$$
I've watched countless videos on your channel. But haven't subscribed. Great videos
Judging by the arms, this guy must be part sasquatch. I bet he could catch a fish with 🐻 hands. 😃
Have you filmed a video about the boat you have, that would be great?
We do the Same on my grandma pier in Savannah
Yeah, it's frustrating to get up that early and it doesn't work out like you planned it to.
Come down to daytona some time!
Next time try to be reeling before that shrimp even hits the water at those lights and burn that surface. You can even make that shrimp jump if you work that too right👌🏽 tsunami holographic shrimp!
Make yourself happy bro.
Did he try using a swimbait in the light? I seem to have really good luck with a swimbait under a light
BeasTMode my brotha!
Sometimes you gotta hop from dock to dock because they get smart after you catch one
P&N Fishing I usually do but for some reason all the other lights were off.
Good luck with your real estate business! I've been full time real estate for 7 years now, and it can also be draining! If I have a referral for Pensacola, I'll send them your way!
Ryan Vlasic Thanks! I get around 1000 charter inquiries a year and a lot of those have turned into sales and leads. That’s the whole reason I did it.
Do u use any bait aster or just spinning reels
Was the drag too loose for good toolset?
One school to the next 🎣
What line do you use on that rod and reel setup?
Hey man ever get any snook or tarpon up there I’m down in palm beach and get tarpon on lights all the time
Logan Hansen No snook but get lots of big Tarpon. We don’t get them under the lights though.
Dang brother would have loved to fish with ya one day and learned something. Gotta do what's best for you though!
Saltwater addict I’m still going to run a few trips. It’ll just be limited.
I’ve been smoking the crappie under white dock lights. Two nights ago when I had my 9 and 12 year old with me, a camp owner took two shots at us and threatened us if we came near his camp.

I hope your June 10th vid is with Toad Fish🤞
Where you at, I need to get there and fish?!
Come down to ft myers and let's do some fishing man
Maybe a vudu Shrimp that might work other than live shrimp
What makes you happy
Do you catch snook that far north? Im south of you in Fort Myers
Bugs attracted to the lights fall into the water Buffet
What reel are you using

That sucks but you got to do what you got to do
Allen Reigel I’ll still be making lots of fishing videos.
Are you gonna make any more fishing videos
Ever try terror eyes?? Great bait u know I'm sure
👍👍
You went on a fishing trip with only artificial bait?
Do what males you happy
😎
How big a mangrove gotta big to be to be a keeper?
10" in Florida
Hey!
Did u try glow lures
No. I didn't bring any.
AnglerUp with Brant
Those are the best under the lights here in South Texas 👍🏼
Do a flounder gigging video
Woohoo
Hey you should go steelhead fishing on a Great Lake tributary during the steelhead run in August
Well I have a question if somebody says I'm coming down the fish I don't want to fish with you as my Captain
John Puckett I’m not sure what you’re asking.
Voice dialing screwed up if I come down there to fish on your Charter and I want you to be my Captain new I still have that option or no not at all
John Puckett There’s always that option. You’re still fishing with my business that I created. It really depends on what I have going on at the time.
What rod are you using
Drake Outside Toadfish. They are linked in my description.
Ok thank you
If you see them!! You cant catch them!! Always my theory
LB7 Wade dude that's my theory also lol you don't catch the fish you can see
Brant since you guide duck hunts you should make some duck hunting videos this season.
I will make some duck hunting vids for sure. Tim does the guiding for us but I will be filming.
Try a black fly
It’s June 10th
You look like Nick Carter
Gulp shrimp
Keith Rose That was the second thing I tried. They get like that sometimes. They bit everything two nights before
You know the fishing sucks if your casting at lady's lol
Your a busy man but what if someone asks for you to take them out ....
That's why I have very good employees that will catch more fish than me.
@@AnglerUpTv yea but they aint making your videos iwas just asking to see if you wod or not
Tim Gabbard It honestly depends. I’ll be making more videos now that I’m not operating the boats. It’s just time for me to take a break.
