    I don’t have a super busy life but I do struggle with anxiety and depression and severe breakouts so I do need a skincare that doesn’t take too much of my very limited energy and helps maintain my skin. Thank you for this Hyram 💜

    I absolutely stand by keeping a cleanser at BOTH your sink and in the shower, even if it's the same cleanser! I'd always forget to move it in and out of the shower and then just not wash my face at all. And then I bought my fav cleanser when it was on sale ahead of time and discovered this.
    I've started applying this same kind of idea to loads of things in my life, including keeping a toothbrush and tube of toothpaste in the shower too! Sooooo much easier to remember to brush my teeth when it's just one more step during my shower.

    Thank you!!!! You read my mind. I wanted to start a proper skin care but i don't know where to start from because I get so overwhelmed with tons of products. You kept it simple and neat :
    A cleanser
    A moisturizer
    And a sun screen. Ahh easy peasy.

    Thank you for this!! My skin barrier has been compromised lately, so I've really narrowed my routine down in the AM: Cleanse, tone (I love gentle toners, can't help it! 😆), moisturize, SPF. I found my skin is much happier this way and it also helps with my anxiety and overall stress to not have such an elaborate routine. At nighttime I have been using your Retinol for so long--love it!!

    Thank you for this video, Hyram. In my early 20s I had great skin (and generally good synergy in life), now almost 30 and I felt like giving up in recent years and skincare took a back seat. Then I found your video and your positive attitude has spurred me to try once again. I need to work on my skin again, get back some confidence, and feel like my old self. I can't believe I never understood the difference between a cleanser and an exfoliant (I just used them interchangeably). Moreover, I put on far too much moisturiser (to the point where it hurts my eyes). I've read that you should put on less 'night cream' than a 'day cream' moisturiser, so that should help me. I just need to buy some quality products, apply correctly, and not stress so much.
    Oh how I wish I had that synergy again. Time to pick myself up and try again.
    If I looked even half as good as you then that would be a win.
    Cheers mate! And thank you for reminding me of how I used to be.

    • @Hyram
      @Hyram  11 місяців тому +2

      Aww you're so welcome! You can totally rebuild that good synergy again! 😄 Trust me, I know how hard that is. Also, the energy I carry on camera is much higher than my day to day life if that makes you feel better 😅 no way I could have this much energy all the time! So don't compare yourself friend 💙 You've got this, I believe in you! Just take it one step at a time 😄

    I cleanse my face of dirt with toner wipes and have 7 serums that alternate between deep hydrations based serums like hyaluronic acid and things like salicylic acid and glycogen acid over the course of a week at night. Then in the morning it’s a moisturising sunscreen (spf50) or a BB (spf20) depending on how much sun I expect to Get that day. With vitamin E eye cream every few days and lip balm. I got my the ordinary retinol in squalane, adapalene gel, mini vaseline, beauty of joseon matte mugwort sunstick, nivea roll on deo and that is it. Night time routine is wash face with hotel soap or shampoo (thankfully they arent as stripping as they used to be), the ordinay retinol in squalane which doubles as an active and moisturizer, and deo. Morning routine is thin layer of vaseline and the suntick.

    Secondly, this may sound crazy, but my face doesn’t like water 🤦‍♂️ yep it makes my skin itch and red, plus my skin is extremely sensitive and reactive on my face, my body is ok but not neck up 😢.
    Everyday it is red, blotchy and sore with still getting spots, I won’t say my age but I will say ( omg spots at my age 😢 ).
    BIG question I hope and pray you read 🙏
    How can I clean my face, without water ❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓
    I am a guy, no make up BUT I do like anti-aging eye products and sorry no sunscreen, yep I said that no sunscreen.
    My skincare regime is at night, because I cannot wear creams etc on my face in the mornings/day time, my face will itch all day if I do and also I sweat profusely head to toe, yep wet soaked everyday of my life ( No exaggeration ) and no cure, very debilitating, embarrassing and has ruined my life.

    Hyram! I had terrible cystic acne and so I went to the best dermatologist here in Portugal because I also have atopic skin in all my body so I had also do put many moisturizers and other specific cream treatments on my hands legs (etc but those are the worse spots) bc they would start getting peeled of and wounds. I started washing my face with the Avéne cleanser for oily skin, that has zinc in it (the blue one) and the SVR Mat moisturizer with niacinamide and gluconolactone and sunscreen every day but also a pill a day, isotretinoin, to stop having that much horrible acne that hurt like hell. It worked, I have no acne but now my skin is more combination to dry skin and I have so much acne scars, like little holes on my skin. I still wear the same products with the addition of the bioderma sebium hydra to treat the dry skin and the sebium kerato+ with malic acid and salicylic acid, I've been alternating. Also the same dermatologist saw me again and I complained about the scars and my wrinkles on my eye area and forehead and she recommended retinol (I use the spanish Matiderm retinol shots with niacinamide). Thing is, my scars are not fading or my wrinkles and dark pigmentation on the eye area and I'm scared to try any collagen boosting skincare products or pills because I only have been using pharmaceutical products prescribed by my dermatologist for almost 4 years. Do you think it's bad if I start ingesting collagen boost or doing maybe a skinrie or other soft collagen boost mask once in a while? Thanks for the advice, love your channel so much ❤

      Also, I'm just 19 years old (almost turning 20) so I think I can still fix the dark pigmentation on my eyes and acne scars and dark spots with skincare and ingesting the right stuff. That's why I was asking your advice!

    Idk if this is just a skin care newbie question but if one does wear make up or even just CC creams will that get “messed up” if you reapply things like sunscreen during the day? Thank you!

      Aww thank you so much!! 💙 I would recommend a retinol product, like my brand Selfless by Hyram's Retinol & Rainbow Algae Serum. Retinol helps with hyperpigmentation. If you've never used retinol before, start with once a week and work your way up to 2-3 times a week 😊 us.selflessbyhyram.com/products/retinol-rainbow-algae-repair-serum

    Hyram, how do you get past the unpleasant smell of the Natrium Niacinamide Face Cleansing Gelee ? I just got a bottle about a week ago or so (specificly because of your strong recommendation), and tried it several times - alone at the sink and in the shower. The 'fragrance' of it is rather off-putting to me; reminds me of two-day-hangover in a bottle; somewhere between stale vomit and old sweat. I do like how clean it makes my skin feel though, for whatever that is worth. How can I fix the stale vomit smell? Is that normal? It's a real struggle

    When you use the stick sunscreens, how do you know when you have applied the recommended amount of 1 tsp?

    • @Hyram
      @Hyram  11 місяців тому

      There's a 3 finger rule where you draw a thin line of sunscreen up the length of 3 fingers. Obviously that will mean the amount varies per person, but their hand size should be proportionate to face size 😄 It's not a perfect rule, but it helps make sure you have enough!
