The episode with Jennifer Love Hewitt breaks my heart every time I watch it, but it does make me happy that her character got justice and taunted her rapist by saying to him exactly what he said to her when he attacked her.

I think the few times Robin Williams played the villain showed that the funny man had some darkness to him that was part of his acting potential but perhaps a peek of a sort at the demons he walked with inside his mind. He was a good man.

In Jeremy Irons segment you showed A. J. Cook aka JJ from Criminal Minds and didn't mention her and I feel she's pretty well remembered from that role. Also as mentioned by many other comments. How could you show Mathew Lillard, literally Shaggy/ Stu Macher, and not mention him?!
So many of these are just fantastic and gut wrenching to watch. Plus seeing a few plays against type (like Stamos, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Carol Burnett for expamples) are purely chilling. A few tapped into the dark sides a few of its performers had done like Dame Angela if you’ve seen her brilliant work in “The Manchurian Candidate” or Robin Williams in “Insomnia” and “One Hour Photo”
I was so particularly impressed by Martin Short’s performance. He was so goofy but this showed me that he had dramatic acting chops and he came across as a vile character.
It was impossible for me to hate Robin William’s character in this episode. Besides the fact that Robin is such a teddy bear, his character in the episode had such a terrible life.
I tweeted him one day, telling him how much he makes me HATE him more every time i see him on tv... he replied thanking me , saying it was one of best compliments i could've given him. He's an amazing villain.
Well pedro pascal was in law and order but unfortunately it ended Elliots job by killing the daughter in police station who mother got killed . Episode Smoked season 12 Why didn't benson check her out it would be easy to check her for a hidden weapon.
Dallas Roberts in the episode Daydream Believers. He appeared in another episode recurring his role as a serial killer. He was outstanding and the storyline was terrifing!
All the extremely talented Actors and Actresses on all the Law and Order series. That's why I still watch...old and new. There is always a lesson when, one or more, are a Guest Role. It must be a wonderful experience for them; to play against their "normal". Not to mention the regular cast. Doing the same...ironically in Disney Animation or Comedic roles. Rapping! Im so happy for Reruns. I definitely will miss when there isn't a new episode from any L&O show. There opening speech and those tones.

I think you need to learn the difference between a cameo appearance and a guest appearance. Cameo appearances are usually limited to one scene, like Bobby Flay's cameo appearance on SVU.

Robin Williams is simply stunning in his role and it is a hint to his future role in "Insomnia." If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend doing so.
Insomnia came out in 2002; this role debuted in 2008.
Saw his law and order turn in the hospital. Another great performance of his is one hour photo.
