I love that show.I have the complete series on dvd.
Donald Glover should be higher. Much higher than someone like Melissa McCarthy. The man has won 5 Grammys and 2 Emmys for production and has 182 other nominations. He got even bigger than acting in general.
You could make a strong argument for Bill Murray, Adam Sandler and/or Chevy Chase.
And Dan Ackroyd and Jim Belushi
outside the box thinking........I would submit Duane Johnson as a star that became too big for his show
You forgot to mention Tom Hanks from "Bosom Buddies"
QUEEN. LATIFAH....... WHERE IS QUEEN LATIFAH?
I forgot to mention that Katherine Heigl had a starring role in Roswell for 4 seasons before she starred in Grey's Anatomy
And a Hallmark movie that became a big series, Love Comes Softly she left after the 2nd movie
What about Bride of Chucky?
How did you miss Tom Hanks
I grew up with Bosom Buddies!
he was on Family Ties as well :)
Tom Hanks should be #1 , from "Bosom Buddies" to 2x best actor awards (and producer of Band of Brothers)
Robin Williams. Forever missed.
Honorable Mention John Krasinski
How do you not have Tom Hanks on this list?
12:57 FUN FACT' GEORGE Clooney was on Facts of Life before he was on ER
Fun fact, before Facts of Life, he was in another show titled E/R with Elliot Gould. 8 whole episodes.
Actual fact: George Clooney was on The Facts of Life first in 1985 & on E/R a decade later in 1995
@@oldskoolrasleingfan E/R (with the slash) was a 1984 sitcom that lasted 1 season and stared Elliot Gould. George Clooney was in the final 8 episodes.
He's been in 2 shows named for abbreviations of Emergency Room.
I’d also include Olivia Rodrigo considering she became too famous / busy to stay on hsmtmts
George Clooney was on “Roseanne” before “ER”.
In what universe is Johnny Depp ranked below Ariana 'I hate America' Grande?
This one, apparently.
Billy Crystal in Soap
Denzel Washington in St. Elsewhere
Tom Hanks in Bossom Buddies
Good call on Billy Crystal.
