Fidelia didnt deserve to be murdered, but she deserved to be held accountable for her actions. She manipulated her friends into getting pregnant so she wouldnt be the only teen mom, insulted Olivia and her boyfriend, then had the gall to hide behind her father.
@Timeward76 it's his fault to begin with. He kept defending her and making her out to be the victim. Prior to Max murdering her, she was only a victim of stat r4pe - that's it. He threw a tantrum when Liv, a product of r4pe and a target of abuse from a mother, rightfully called out her daughter for treating pregnancy like a game, publicly berated the police when they just found out about Dizzer's age, then had the gall to lead a witch hunt on Peggy Bernardi for cyberbullying when he didn't stop to think his spoiling of Fidelia was what led to the pregnancy pact. The moment the father mentioned the "no locked doors" rule, my heart sank. I knew what they were going to find even before they forced the door open. Cedric was sexually assaulted and then harassed by a guy at the bar who continued pressing himself on him after he said "no." However, he's definitely not "not homophobic" since he used the f-slur, etc. Homophobia's not a crime though.
He said "C doesn't hate". He could've used slurs and what have you WAY before, and kept it to saying he wasn't gay. Cedric was assaulted and repeatedly triggered while people like Ty got scott free. As a gay man I would've been furious and frustrated as well, and from the background he comes from and the expectations upon him I can see where shouting f-g when cornered comes from. Sure, I don't condone it, but he isn't some petulant boy being insufferable, he's tired of defending his sexuality the same way anyone would be.

I am glad those 4 got a fitting end considering Agnes life didnt improve at all after they were sent to jail. At least they didnt get away like many others in other episodes
For the Gridiron Soldier one, I’m on the defendants side. It doesn’t matter if your gay or straight, if you hit on someone and they tell you to stop, you stop. Too many LGBT folks think that sexual harassment and assault laws don’t apply to them, and try to spin it when they get rejected. Ty deserves to be severely punished. Funny thing is that they do apply and when LGBT folks do get prison time, 90% are in for sexual and violent crimes. And worse, the Sargent was willing to let go what happened to him because the offender is gay. I lost all respect for her character for that. She deserves to rot in prison for this and the routine violations of law she does every day. If I were the defense attorney I’d charge Stabler with discrimination and malicious prosecution. She’s willing to charge a straight man but won’t charge a gay man.
it is the criticism of L&O SVU for many, even to the point of calling it the Olivia Benson Show. And it wasn't the only time either. There was an episode that had a gay man that taught music to kids and he was acused of sexually abusing one. Amanda (the blonde detective) also said for everyone to hold their horses and not accuse him of being a molester based on the fact that he was gay and one of his students was abused. He also coached singers at a talent show (akin to The Voice) and two teen girls that weren't good enough set him up after he told them that they weren't good enough. Season 15, episode 7 - Dissonant Voices
Lol she deserves to rot in prison? When a woman does not defend a man, people are vicious with a tone of misogyny, but they are never as vicious when a woman is failed Only the man is important.
@elderliddle2733 look, the vocal teacher was a huge mistake, but that cheerleader in Gridiron Soldier was also coerced into the act. He made the choice, but it was the footballers who pushed him into it. He did ended up getting charged, but he and the cheerleaders may have gotten a lighter sentence. Besides the real guilty party was that football team and the coaches, especially since they wanted to punish Cedric for choosing another team by hazing and SA'ing him - Olivia wanted to get them all, not just the cheerleaders.
"Do you know that you were at a gay bar?" "No way... They had hockey on TV!" "Was anybody watching?" Oh yes, Olivia. Believe me; they were indeed watching.

@campfire_cat what makes it worse is that the cheerleader was coerced into it by the football team. Sure, he could've said no - but they backed him into a corner until he had no choice. And besides, Cedric was only assaulted because the team and the coach were butthurt he chose another team's offer instead of them and thought r4ping would be an acceptable punishment. The male cheerleader and his entire squad were charged but got light sentences most likely because they were coerced into the act by a bunch of vengeful little boys who can't take no for an answer.
"You were in a gay bar" "No way, there was hockey on tv!" I would really like to know if people in real life ever did that, just didn't realize they were in a gay bar 😂😂
The 2nd one disgusted me because Olivia was trying her best to stop the criminals from getting caught and arrested. When the victim is a girl, she goes out of her way to get them justice. But when the victim was a man? She's trying her best to PREVENT him from getting justice. It's insane. He was raped, btw, he only consented to those two girls doing anything with him. He did NOT consent to any of those guys being involved. I thought that should be pretty clear.
The first story was CLEARLY inspired by a number or similar cases of online bullying, "Ms. Bernardi However, is blatantly based on Lori Drew. Just like the character, the real woman never went to prison. However, after moving to California, her husband left her and her daughter hasn't been no contact with her. _Mean_ , sad to say, is a even more disturbing story, because it is all too often true. So many public and private schools are lying when they say they have "no tolerance" for bullying, they just have a "no tolerance policy" against the bullied standing up for themselves and/or others.
Hey, Folks. I have an idea for another video of SVU. There is an episode called Streetwise: when the body of a socialite is found dead in Central Park, investigation leads to a family of poor people. It’s just a suggestion.
I was never a teen mom but I graduated high school with 2 teen moms and I could tell that it was difficult for my friend getting up early morning and going to school after getting up multiple times during the night with her daughter so it might be exciting for some teen moms to be having a baby but at the same time I could tell it wasn’t easy for her.
RIGHT?? As a female victim it ENRAGES ME that men get charged for defending themselves!! What was he supposed to do let it happen?? When I defended myself I wasn’t arrested!
While I have no knowledge of law, I guess the difference in sentences is due to the manner the murders were carried out and guilt/intent. The guy strangled his girlfriend to quiet her and felt remorse over it. The brother on the other hand tortured a sick and innocent man by torturing and burning him to death while having no remorse/guilt over the act.
@jason_a_rodriguez and it was technically manslaughter. He didn't mean to kill her, plus she was the ringleader of a pregnancy pact, her behaviour led to the incidents and she had the gall to insult her boyfriend. I don't think the jury felt much sympathy towards her since she treated her pregnancy like a game and caused a chain of events that led to murder.

Fidelia didnt deserve to be murdered, but she deserved to be held accountable for her actions. She manipulated her friends into getting pregnant so she wouldnt be the only teen mom, insulted Olivia and her boyfriend, then had the gall to hide behind her father.
Entitled fools always call for their chief enabler. Mom or dad
The episode, Babes, reminds me of that old question, which is, if everyone decided to jump off a building, would you do it too?
The way fidelia's dad reacted was so sad. He was already dealing with a lot with her, and... Suddenly she's gone. And he never noticed.
If anything, I'd say Fidelia's mom wanted to call her out on her attitude, you could tell she wasn't pleased about Fidelia's pregnancy.
@@lukerosales5879 Yeah. No offense to what happened to Fidelia, As she was Murdered and thus an unborn child was also Killed, But your right about some thing's. But also Fidelia's dad just really Loved her. Yeah fidelia is CLEARLY a Fool for getting pregnant and she's treating it Like its gonna Boost her popularity and stuff, And I do agree her father should have been a BIT More hard on her, But it would not really matter. As she's already pregnant and also, I think When her dad said fidelia is Only a child, he had sorta a good point. Yeah, she's a Idiot for what she did, But some young people are JUST LITERALLY STUPID and its No1's fault. she made her choice. and it cant be Taken back. I also think fidelia's Mother was Not too Pleased about her daughter being pregnant. Like that Look she had on her Face and the Face-Palming also. my NUMBER 1 FAVE part/scene about this episode is when Olivia Laid the HARD BRUTAL Truth on fidelia and she show's her she is not Improving her Life or Being "COOL" she JUST Made her Life REALLY TOUGH and hard and most Likely Screwed up whatever future dream's or idea's she Had. that's 1 thing I Love about "LAW AND ORDER SVU" Its SO MUCH Like the Real world, as it not only has Villain's, It also has people who Do stupid pact's and Treat BIG responsibility's their gonna have to take on like a game and they JUST Plain wind up SCREWING UP their lives. Like Olivia says, "Life as you know it, IS OVER NOW." she was SO RIGHT.
I dont think he should be charged. He said no and the guy in the bar wouldn't back off. Thats sexual harassment. And ty needs to go to prison for sexual assault he never gave consent. This is just messed up.
Wait- *was he actually charged?!* he wasn’t right?! Cause that would be such bullsh*t if he was! He was clearly suffering from PTSD!
Hmmm nah, he should still be charged for assault, but no jail time. The guy who assaulted him for sure deserves prison time. Maybe even get registered as an offender.
@maimer1691 the cheerleader did end up getting charged, but the bigger fish were the entire football team and the coaches who thought that r4pe was an acceptable punishment for a guy who took up another offer.

I can never never understand the cruelty a teenager can inflict on someone else and think its in their rights or that its funny to treat someone like Agnes like that. She had every right to snap and I hope people like her got the help and support she needed
since I don't need to justify my decision as a juror, I would say she is not guilty if I was a juror at her trial
@otaviofrn_adv unfortunately that slutty popular girl would've most likely have been favoured over Agnes so a lot of people will demand she be charged. At best a manslaughter charge with a very low sentence or an insanity plea, assuming the jury would sympathise with Agnes/Benson and Novak decide to get Agnes the help she needs.

It was also brutal. REALLY SHOWS how TRULY HORRIBLE and TERRIBLE and EVIL some popular rich people Can be. Made me REALLY HAPPY those 3 girls when to prison. Also, SO SAD what happened to Agnes.
The football player one is a huge let down. I'm queer and trans. I stand by the argument that the football player was raped and that the male cheerleader should be charged. I feel for the bar victim and that the football player needs to be on probation and counseling because he did assault someone. The mitigating circumstances and his interview show PTSD. The bar guy is the biggest victim and then the football player. The chearleaders and football players are fucking trash monsters.
@Rockas360 I do think the male cheerleader got charged, but because he was coerced into the act by the football team he got a lighter sentence. That entire team thought r4pe was a punishment for Cedric for choosing another team over them, they were trying to highlight that the entire industry was a hotpot of toxic masculinity and r4pe. SVU wanted to take that entire team down, especially since they believed that Cedric deserved it for thinking the other offers he was getting was better than theirs.
The bar guy got told no and wouldn't leave him alone. That's sexual harassment.
The bar guy is NOT the bigger victim. Like are you for real??
this is just a segment from the full episode
Nah the bar guy wouldn't stop when Cedric said no. That's sexual harassment, and it also makes sense that Cedric freaked out given given the fact that he was assaulted. I'm also queer and trans, and it being a guy that was gay that assaulted Cedric doesn't make it any less awful. The fact that Cedric is a man doesn't make it any less awful. Cedric was really the only victim here.

They only believed Emily and the other popular girls saying it was just “school pranks” and even when it was revealed that she was ended by her own friends because she was talking to one of their boyfriends, another popular girl blamed Agnes for them being in jail and it broke Agnes to snap and shoot that other popular girl.
It's horrible watching that episode , just heartbreaking and so sad , I can't stand any bully and when I was young and in school , I would stick u for the kids that were bullied but teachers did nothing to protect those children , I'm 61 so U see how long that keeps going and now with Zero tolerance for bullying , It's still happening everyday. I homeschooled my two children during their middle school and high school ages because I was so worried about someone hurting their sweet hearts and now I have 6 Grandbabies and I worry about them everyday . When Will teachers and principals learn to really stop this horrible thing that can mess up a kids life forever , school shootings , suicides , when will they listen and really have ZERO TOLERANCE??

That first clip cuts off before the mum that bullied the teenager then attacked one of the cops. Her daughter was distraught that all her family was in jail, but the dad of her boyfriend who was murdered took her in and was going to help her raise her child/his grandchild.
Homophobia's not a crime though.
it's only a crime if it becomes a hate crime lol
Homophobia is classified as a hate crime. But you’re correct, given the context of being sexually assaulted it shouldn’t be his fault.

That s how you make sure no one cared about the 4 accused ones. One murdered(by one of her "friends"), the one that murdered her is sent to jail for her crime, the other 2 charged due to being accomplices.
Jesse McCartney in this was always my favorite

While I have no knowledge of law, I guess the difference in sentences is due to the manner the murders were carried out and guilt/intent. The brother on the other hand tortured a sick and innocent man by torturing and burning him to death while having no remorse/guilt over the act.
@jason_a_rodriguez and it was technically manslaughter.
