This goes how Mariska really treasured Chris as a partner in work and good friend. That is why Olivia and Elliot's characters are flawless and easy to them.
Mariska, to me, has always been one of the most beautiful women, ever! Like I hope to age like her. You can tell she also has a beautiful soul to match her looks... And IceT! That man looks like a real life Teddy Bear. He seems like someone who does their job and then can joke around, after hours. A coworker you'd want to go to Happy Hour, after work... These two are the OGs of SVU!
Mariska and Ice T…wow. The love and respect they have for one another is immense . You can see the sincerity and admiration they have for each other. Their chemistry is off the charts and they’re hilarious together. You can’t fake that.

@@dreznoryorkekeenanbuckley2226if she got plastics done they did a great job, usually when a celeb gets work done it’s obvious but it’s really not on her, I get it’s likely because holy cow she’s 60 and looks like THAT, but she really still just looks like herself. Which is good for tv continuity/timeline purposes.
Love these two, they’re so real compared to other actors. My favorite all time SVU episodes were season 2 episode 18 Manhunt with Munch & Tutuola & Season 7 with Ludicris episode 18 Venom & 19 Screwed.

i love when Dodds comes by and Fin just says "you want me to cut him? You know I will". That sums up their relationship on the show pretty well in my opinion. Also Munch's scene with Noah and Olivia is one of my absolute favorites

I loved the recaps & commentaries from Ice & Mariska. Ice-T got his Star on the walk of fame Feb 17, 2023 & Richard Belzer passed away the same weekend 02/19/2023.

I've been following SVU since the very beginning. I was surprised by Mariska's emotion in real life, after Meloni announced in the fiction that he was leaving.
She probably knows the real reasons for that change.
I would have loved to have a small part in one of the episodes, just to experience that nice team atmosphere.

I have been watching this show since I was in high school. She's captivating and always amazing. Love Chris, I love her with Ice. Stunningly done. I love it. It's more than a show I remember Calling my grandma to discuss episodes... shes passed now and my daughter's grown now and it's amazing. My mom and I still call and talk about the show. I love Ice he's a really good fit for this show.

I saw a video back in 1966 when Mariska was 2 yrs old with her mother and siblings on the Merv Griffin Show. She was so cute. You can see back then what her future would be.
