Can you be just friends with an ex? Craig talks about the idea of whether or not it's a good idea to stay friends with your ex.
Definitely don’t try being friends as I’ve felt this sting and it isn’t a “back door” to your exes heart as by then they have lost their feelings

I disagree. I became friends with my boyfriend after our breakup, and it led to us getting back together after spending more time with each other. We are a gay couple so not sure if that matters though.
it does not had a couple friend that broke up stayed friends later on they came back together. everyone has other intentions we never know what other people are thinking
No. Don't do it. I totally agree with you coach. I told my ex-girlfriend I could not be friends with her and she blocked me totally. It's just as well I don't want to see who's getting my sloppy seconds.
FOR short we are blocked for either wanting being their love in their life or for wanting being only a kinda "friend" thing.... they manipulate us and of course is always easiest for an EX just blocking US and going eventually NO contact. it is not fair.

I also said yes to being friends with my ex girlfriend but i broke it off in November because i realised it's not worth it
I've seen this with women from Philippines, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Guyana, China... it's very sad. They tend to be convinced by the people that want to control them that they are wrong to want to differentiate and actually live, so they get put on medication, get beaten, etc. unless they flee. I live in NY, I've known many survivors.

I'm kind of lost here... I have a bby with this person.. If I'm not nice then I'm the worst person ever and he'll be mean to me, if I'm nice then he'll manipulate me and try everything be done his way without caring about my feelings or thoughts. What in this planet can I do..!? I mean he'll try to manipulate me either way. I still love him but I can't handle this anymore.
Set firm boundaries and stick to them. Stop caring what he thinks; limit all communication to discussions about your child. Best gift you can give yourself is to move on and let him go.

Omg. Looking at her culture I can.say one thing. He just have to speak with her parents ( this kind of culture wants that) speak and explain them how you see her in your life, that you are serious about her and take care of her. Thats it.
Lol, off with his head will be what they say. I've seen this many times, hell they will kill their own sister for sake of control. You can pretend it's not so but they're in a year 500 mentality still. Yes I actually know first hand through many many cases. They need serious help but don't tend to believe in seeking help anywhere due to wamting to exact control over their family members. It's very sad and tends to get very bad, a very few of them escape which involves leaving their country and getting very far away from their family and are sometimes tracked down even in other countries. Did I mention they have serious issues... 🙏
Me and my partner broke up on 02/12/22. I ended it by text whilst angry with her. She moved out the same day. Have told her I made a mistake and want her back but she wants us to be friends. Have been out as friends twice since then but it’s so hard. I give her a hug and kiss on the cheek when we meet but I want so much more.
We’re going to the cinema on 15/01/23 and I look forward and dread it at the same time. What should I do?
