Hey why didn't Headrush ever update the boards to have the actual pedal graphic for the icon on the screen !? They said they were going to do it since they advertised on the box shows their Headrush pedal version but still on the screen it's just a blank box. I feel ripped off by Headrush and akai for that matter with mpc live 2 only having 2.4 g ram but the things with Headrush that make me mad are graphics issue and the fact I bought a clearly not finished product but sorry to vent. I didn't mean to vent on you, I really just intended on asking a question but yeah, thanks.
I’m thinking of getting the Headrush MX5 but I have a tube amp it does have FX send and return ., Whst is the best way to run this straight into the amp or 4 cable method ? I still want to use my PRS MY-15 or my Jet City JCA22H tube amp but I want the best sound and I also might incorporate some of my own pedals into the chain , Delay , Chrous , Noise Gate if needed I want to know before I buy this if it will work . I have a Boss ME-80 right now and I just simply plug straight in to the front of my amp and use a small headphones Jack insert into the Rec out Jack to cut the Cab Sims as others have suggested and it’s sounds great . Again for ease of use ( touch screen I’m looking at these instead of a line6 HX multi- effects I appreciate the help

Dude. ... you're obviously talented.... I have a Boss GT6...which I purchased many many years ago. I'm considering a new multi effects pedal for home recording use only. This MX5 looks like a serious contender for me. Would you recommend such? I don't have my own computer so would need someone to do the update thing etc if required.
Ah Andy. What a legend! That patch is the clean patch in my Gig Pack on my shop, I just changed out the overdrive to insert the Blues Drive. davewebbmusic.com/products/gig-pack
Seems like headrush is starting to put out updates more frequently then the quad cortex that's a good start they got a ways to go to get on the line 6 or fractal level tho
I’ve wanted to get a gigboard but it seems they are out of stock everywhere in the uk. I just purchased a boss gt1000 core yesterday, waiting for it to come currently. I’ve see a lot of your vids and what do you recommend for someone who wants to use a device for practice and playing with epic tones? Cheers mate
GT1000 Core will definitely get you some epic tones. I have one and totally rate it. Get yourself some good speakers, whether it be monitors or an FRFR. When I play live I go straight to PA, it’s super convenient, sounds huge and allows for easy mixing.
You need to try out a Takamine with a cool tube preamp blending with the Takamine Triax, you will never play another acoustic ever....its really that good
So, I have had a N.I.B. Headrush Pedalboard sitting in my closet for a couple years now as i have limited time to get to every piece of gear. I finally opened it about 3 months ago and registered it. So, many Updates have come along since i've had it and my question is....Do I need to do every Update since starting with the 1st one and everyone after individually ? or if i do this newest 2.6, will that cover all the Updates prior. I know it sounds crazy, but i'm a bit of a Technophobe. Especially with the fact that i am trudging the bottom with an ancient 2009 MacBook with an out of date Browser. I'm old OK. Any feedback is appreciated, by anyone . Thaaaaaaanks.

Can anybody help? Headrush gigboard says not detected when I use the USB transfer. I go to global settings> USB transfer - it will not detect the HR. Also did a system restore same issue. Just lost all my presets as well.
Sounds like a nightmare. I’ve had USB issues in the past, ended up having the board replaced. If you don’t hear from HeadRush, speak to the store you got it from. That’s what I ended up doing. Good luck!
I love the update but since I added it my custom IR's all say file missing or corrupt. I've tried re-adding them and syncing but no luck. Anyone have any ideas? Really don't want to lose them. BTW love the channel. Come here for all my headrush needs :)
Oh bugger. That does not sound like fun 😕 You’ve already tried re-adding them, which would’ve been my suggestion. Perhaps do the update again and see if that fixes it. Next step would be to do a total reset of the unit. If you do, BACK UP YOUR PRESETS FIRST! I’m not yelling, just being clear. Its not you. The Headrush is easily the worst sounding unit people buy. Every amp is a derivative tweak of one of the original amps. They don't have the capability of actually adding new models. The entire design is literally based on code directly from the Eleven Rack..
Factory settings don't sound good, and without ir it doesn't sound good either. Have tried different companies that sell ir and with ir from Liveplayrock it actually sounds pretty good I think. Im satisfied. Doesn't sound like my $2500 amp, but love my gigboard. No fucking noise, I can practice with headphones and I'm up and running in 30 seconds.

How did you get the 2x IR option to appear? Mine just sows the 1 big speaker icon. Does it depend on your selected amp?
This is a new option in the latest firmware. There should be a little 2x underneath it. Press that & it shows up.

Good lord the Headrush still sounds awful.
Couldn’t possibly change tone or pick different amps to taste. That’s a feature only possible in the beta cortex
