Talent is an understatement. I thought he was a comedian because of his parody of famous songs to the virus. I am so glad I did the research because now I am a big fan. Looking and listening to everything he has done.
Agreed! "My Corona" was hysterical, "Home" (Vogue) and "Hello From the Inside", incredibly clever and poignant, but they brought me to THIS video, which is the real thing! Very well done! Really beautiful vocals. :-)

I rooted for Chris on The Voice and when I was able to finally accomplish one of my dreams of seeing Phantom of the Opera in person, I found out he was playing The Phantom! Such an amazing performance! I’m so glad I was able to hear him in person as well. Thanks for making my first time seeing Phantom even more special! 😊❤️

@@sarahturner4148 ok this is a hard one. Gerard Butler can definitely sing he is brilliant in the movie but if I had to choose, Chris Mann all the way. I fell in love with Chris and his voice the first time I heard him sing on America's The Voice season 2 he definitely should have won but went on to play The Phantom on Broadway and hasn't looked back since. I just hope he comes to Australia soon ! 🎼🎶🎤💗

You were the Phantom when I got to see the show for the first time at Pantages in 2015. My sister and I couldn't stop talking about how good you were as we were walking out after the show... such a lovely voice.
The way Chris sings "Trust me" is so heartbreaking! His music video somehow manages to be just as beautiful and heartbreaking as his performance of the song in the show! Incredible!
1) Discovered Chris's video "My Corona". Enjoyed it.
2) Found more videos. Watched "Thank You Frontline", and immediately became a fan. (I'm an EMT, so I took that personally... in a good way.)
3) Found even more videos. Enjoyed them.
4) Found THIS video. Phantom has always been my #1 favorite musical (even if the relationship between Phantom and Christine is straight-up unhealthy).
5) Damn near fainted at 1:50.
6) Did a little research and discovered Chris was the title character for over 700 live theatre performances of Phantom of the Opera!!! I'm only a little surprised, tbh. There were several times I could almost see the mask on his face!
As a person who has been in a choir who accompanied him at one of his concerts, it is honestly such a fantastic experience hearing him live! I wasn't one of the lucky kids who got to meet him, but he is a really nice guy, from what I heard from the ones who did meet him.

When I finally stopped laughing hysterically from the three My Corona parodies and also the Adele parody as well, I found myself thinking this guy has an incredible voice and vocal range. I went looking and landed here. I am an instant and dedicated fan. Thank you Chris!
This is my favorite song from this musical. I saw it in my Senior trip in 97. We also had Phantom of the Opera melody for our senior song for the band to play (still remember how to parts of it after all of these years)
As good as Michael Crawford... to sing it in a way that draws you in and sympathize with a villian, that's a gift.
My story seems like everyone else's story here. I was exposed to a quarantine song, thought, "Huh, this guy can carry a proper note and has a good sense of humor," and now I'm checking out other songs.

I see how a lot of people are here because of his parodies. I discovered him on The Voice and fell in love with his voice at first listen. Go back and watch his The Voice performances, you won’t be disappointed (well maybe disappointed because he didn’t win, damnit)
The Mann with the golden voice! I have yet to hear anything that isn't great by him! And I have heard a lot! More than the casual fan! :) I so hope your star continues to rise and be part of the Constellations in the Heavens! And I still listen to your record at least once a day! With City On Fire repeated at least 3 times! I so adore that song!
Constellations is one of my favorite albums but what really makes me upset is that people who listen to pop songs (or the popular genres) don't realize that there are true people with real talent--Mann is my favorite singer and even beats out Selena Gomez as she was my favorite as a kid but I guess music tastes change.
I went to the show at Kennedy center and was blown away by how amazing Chris Mann was as the phantom. I REALLY wish they sold a soundtrack of him as the Phantom. 🙏

This is an amazing performance of this song! When I first moved to Wichita, KS in 2010 someone gave me a copy of Chris's EP (2 years before he was on The Voice). When I found out he was on in 2012, I was like...I know that guy! Not personally, but it felt cool to see someone from where you live whose lesser known work you had listened to because he was sort of locally known seem to be getting a break finally at a national level! Amazing voice. Best of luck to you, Chris.

This is the beginning of Chris Mann and our introduction to his amazing voice. How he did not win the Voice will always puzzle me!! Then came the COVID parodies and it brought so much attention... and showed a totally different (and brilliant/funny) side of this man. I'm SO glad that some were lead to know this other side of him. He would have been an amazing "Phantom".. reminding me of Davis Gaines who was who we saw in that role. Beautiful, talented, a true family man... every woman's dream!!

But I did not expect you to have this level of classical training, and mastery. My first career was in music. Classical flute. I'm critical. I don't impress easily. I don't remember the last time I felt so drawn into a song and its performance. It's certainly been a few years. I am in awe. And you're a baritone! Such a joy. Sometimes, one does grow weary of tenors and sopranos (contralto, here). You are an amazing vocalist. I am very happy to have discovered your music. Sends chills up my arms. Phantom of the Opera is my favourite of all time. I saw it on TV as a child and I was hooked, that was many, many years ago. I have seen Phantom on stage three times. Chris is fantastic. If I was his wife I wouldn’t let him out in public, he is gorgeous.
