It's my Jack Russell. I haven't had a single three hours of sleep together in over 2 years, lol. Even if I try to fool him by sitting on the couch to sleep, he watches for my eyes to close and suddenly needs to go out, or wants a drink, or points his nose toward his treats and whines. Or just jumps up and stands on my leg till I have to get up again :(

And coffein! Chocolate does also contain coffein. Even I cant sleep when I eat dark chocolate slightly too late
I eat chocolate every night and go to sleep, it depends on the person.
Dana Sandoval well the body does adjust to coffein. Same thing with my parents. They say they can sleep even after drinking coffee in the evening. If your eating chocolate everyday the coffein looses its effect. But then take it away suddenly, you will probably feel more tired and in case of chocolate a little less motivated or happy even maybe.
It used to be the coating on the M&M's all those E numbers.
Exactly! Chris take a nutrition course! And read up on all the sources of caffeine and other natural stimulants...
I've been a nanny for 20 years. The bed time routine starts after dinner. Very low key and quiet play. No t.v. A nice warm bath and a lullaby playlist should do it. Nothing exciting or stimulating. This worked for me over the years.

I went thru this with our first child, a boy! I wondered if I'd ever sleep again. He just graduated high school this year and he JUST WOKE ME UP FOR THE LAST 3 NIGHTS because he couldn't sleep LOL I promise it does get better though. I actually used the methods in a book called "The No Cry Sleep Solution" back when he was 2 and it really did work. Either way, your not alone by a long shot. Thanks for making life's miserable moments funny for us :)

I’ve been there, I feel your pain. Two years of chronic ear infections kept my son up all night-crying. Just when your kids start sleeping through the night and become a bit more independent-whamo, menopause hits. Back to square one, not sleeping through the night. Nature can be cruel that way.
