Really enjoyed Nuno telling his story with such excitement and sincerity. We all love and cherish his amazing talents, but I can't help thinking of how proud his family must be. What a great guy.
I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Nuno a bit when he was in ft. Lauderdale at the New River Studio's to record a new album with his band Extreme. He was quite unassuming, humble and never had that rock star attitude. He was getting his knee rehabbed at the facility I was working at. Such a great person.
I’ve seen quite a handful of your comments on my posts and I just wanna appreciate those people whose wishes me good and encourages me and my team, I wouldn’t be the man I am today without people like you, God bless you. I hope to bring you so much happiness and joy 🌹❤️
Really a great player and a nice guy. I was lucky enough to meet him and Gary in Phoenix and hang out a little while. I actually took them to What-A-Burger at 1AM! Both were very cool, regular guys.
G. Cherone must have had magical sight. he picked Nuno before even seeing him play ... and we all know, he was right all along. one of the best on electric guitar EVER.
I remember hearing a story about Nuno w/ some other musicians forgot exactly who they all were but on tour together. They'd go out to clubs and they were talking about how quick Nuno was able to pick up the hottest chick in the clubs. After a few nights of this One of them was like dude.. what is your line? what do you say to make that happen? He said, "I just walk up and say hi, I'm Nuno"..
That doesn't surprise me... I've nerver seen a more gorgeous guy than Nuno. Back at that time I think all the girls who crossed his path had to drop like flies around him, that must have been so easy for him to pick whoever he wanted. And maybe that is still. I've been absolutely a fan of this guy for almost 25 years, his multiple talents as an artist are well established, he's a monster, and one of the greatest musician of all times for me. But unfortunately, I'm a girl ... And I wish I was a guy to remain insensitive to his unbearable fucking charisma and beauty. Even today at over 50, he remains just magnificent and so charismatic. Oh shit... 🤦♀️😂

@@nunobettencourt3670 Nuno, It's awesome that you are a great musician and a humble man. I'll admit that growing up I only knew 'More than words' cause I was more into hip hop (I was only 11 at the time lol) but now I really appreciate your music. Hope you continue to make great music!
I'm from Massachusetts, Nuno is our greatest export. I've been a fan since V66 was on TV. That was our local music video channel in Boston. You've gotta love Nuno, he's incredible.
I once knew Nuno..and I'm still friends with all his cousins, (his cousin Marc mostly). we grew up in the same town on the same street... right across from the old Victory supermarket in Hudson. Nuno has mad skills, but I admit I'm sort of lukewarm on Extreme's music. Three Sides to Every story is probably my favorite and probably the most musically diverse. My favorite band of the late 80's and early 90's is King's X.
Similar view here. I think Extreme was Nuno and the rest. The band around him didn't match his skills. When listening to music where he plays, I tend to ignore the rest of the band behind him - something that I normally don't do. Yes, Kings X....👍👍

@Doublon Conroy And that says a lot! Lol "I don't care too much for money, cause money can't buy me love. Can't buy me looo-ove, looo-ove..." but it can buy him a great big house. This being said, I must admit he's just one of the most creative, talented, prolific and influential men still walking this earth so... We forgive him.
@@slaprakshas I think in terms of personality, my favorite has always been George. But when it comes to songwriting... Paul is also my favorite. I used to think John was, but over the years I realized most of the songs I still love as much as when I first heard them are mostly Paul's. But it's easier to find good songs among such a wide catalog! He's always been the most prolific.
@Bruno Bailly Same with me... When it comes to choose one I’m always torn between all four.. that’s why there’s a pun in my last comment. Paul gets the highest amount of bashing in the media - that he doesn’t deserve. Hence I never pass a chance to show my support and appreciation of him. Being a bass player I have some extra reasons too..
Love his start story. Always liked him, he seems to be a real person. My favorite version of Creep is his at Lucky Strikes. Turkey Jam's vid's are great.
I've met Nuno many a time here in the Detroit area and also have had the privilege of checking out the original number 1 "N4". I have a 1992 "Davies" N4 and a 2006 N6 with the decal.

Nuno, how can you be so gorgeous still after 30 years? And this is without makeup and surgeries. Women can’t be that beautiful au naturele at your age!
that was a cool story love nuno and extreme. they were very talented band . Nuno still playing great and looks like he hasn't aged . they did a great job using their influence to make a unique sound. I like some new bands but they are miles away from the caliber of musician they were.
Saw Kix many times, and went to the Halloween shows downstairs at Celebrations in Kenmore...I also knew the guy that was in the Mutha video, and someone who played with Nuno in Sinful...mid-80's in Boston were so much fun

That was Carlos Cavaso's band he was in before he took RR spot in Quiet Riot. I believe Billy Idol was down there shopping for a guitarist to replace Steve Stevens.
Nuno is so incredible ! His talent surpasses all the expectations that I have in my head. This man can literally play anything. He’s one hellova rocker !! But the main guitar that Nuno has now, is the brown electric guitar with his sign on the guitar called N4. He also has other main guitar of other colours of them aswell with his N4 sign on them as well. And the main guitar that he uses of the name of it, is Whashburn guitar. And the other thing about Nuno, he's been playing at some gigs, some shows at weddings, some pubs/music clubs and he's also been making money when he was playing at these shows when he was 11, 12, 13, and 14 years old
WOW, what a fateful story, so many things had to happen for them to finally form Extreme. That was just crazy how he decided to quit his old band on the spot LOL.
Most underrated rock guitarist alive.
