Hey Alois, great guide as always! I have an idea for an educational focus that you might consider. I'm a gold 4 top laner, have only played for a couple of years, and i feel like i have pretty good and flashy mechanichs and a decent understanding of macro and tempo. However, i feel like what's holding me back from ranking up is, other than general knowledge about items and interactions, are my bad habits. With bad habits i mean things like overextending often, being way too greedy, disrespecting my opponent, not looking at map, starting fights without knowing where all my enemies are, going tunnelvision for kills etcetera... Now, do you think you could make a video on how to recognise when we are engaging in these bad habits and the most important things to avoid? I know you probably already went over all of this stuff, but maybe compacting and summarizing them could help a lot of us poor noobies... Thanks a lot for everything you tought me and keep up the amazing work!
Let me start by telling you you are not what you think you are. With good mechanics and decent macro you will not be stuck in low gold after a couple of years, which at the moment is below the 50th percentile in most if not all servers. If your goal is really to improve you won't be doing so with a guide, you need to review your games and learn the very basics.
@@godlikemusic6407 Yes you are completly right, i probably sounded very cocky in that comment and it was not my goal. By "good" i don't mean that i am remotley close to done with improving in those aspects, but i still think that i am not able to make good use of what i theoretically "learned" because of the bad habits that i was talking about.

Alois needs to do an Irelia guide because she's genuinely the most conditional toplaner. She can barely fight enemies that are ahead when outside of a wave and her pushing power is weaker than other fighters like Fiora. Making her work outside of a sidelane is far too coinflip.
Hi AloisNL, how do you play matchups where your champion is weaker than enemy? In this video you seem to have kill pressure all the time. Against losing matchups, would you just respect? What if opponent freezes on you in a losing matchup? Is your lane just over? Would like to know how to play when weaker.

i have an account that ended silver 1 last split (somethign like 52% WR) that i share with my friends. i played a couple games on it this split and its in plat/emerald mmr. idk how riot mmr works bc the account is still in silver and there hasn't been many pop off games or insane WR or nothing. i feel for people who are struggling to climb bc of weird ass MMR this split lol.

Hi man, i fail to apply your tips when playing shen toplane. Since he has very poor waveclear early game and i feel i cannot apply what u say. Can u make a guide about shen?
He has camille guides when he said what you can do when you have bad push.
Just focus the casters minions(mages) so wave will push a little bit faster.
OR don't play shen he's usselss as hell now.

Since they buffed the ms of creeps in top to match midlane shen feels impossible to play due to his extremly slow push and always unable to full push the wave under tower. Even when prioritizing ranged creeps still feels shit since u need 3 autos to kill them until u ate least finish bami but even then still impossible to push with
Yeah thats why no one is playing shen he sucks youre basically support youre giving up turret/plates to help teammates and kill something on map have you seen ever shen with 8cs/min average ? even xpetu literally rank1 euw shen is having 5 or 4 cs/mins average cuz shen is bad at csing and he literally uploaded a video about stopping playing shen cuz he sucks and hes basically not fun and usseless.

3:19 It's important to remember that in moments like this where someone on the other team is doing weird plays that chances are they're wasting so much time not getting exp or gold that it doesn't matter that it cost you some cs. Samira is 1 v 2 in bot lane until almost 3 minutes, and that shaco is still lvl 1 when he gets back to lane.
I'm not going to say that play was the only reason that Shaco went 0/5 this game while also being 2 levels under the alistar, but the only reason Samira was able to get anything done was because Caitlyn was feeding her brains out every time the jungler ganked, and even then Caitlyn was up 40 CS over Samira by the end of it.

In my case, emerald II and I find it very difficult and at least I never reached diamond but several times at these two elos and low...
