Very nice review! I got the Aluminum one. It works fantastic. I didnt see the need to shell out $300.00 just for SS.

The cost can be justified when you notice your Aluminum Series 4 Apple Watch screen all full of scratches. I have the original Series 0 SS Apple Watch and after all these years no one single scratch on the screen, ZERO! Totally worth the money.

The frustrating thing to me is this year the difference between aluminum gps and cellular is $100. Last year it was $60, AND you had double the storage. This year everything is the same except you get cellular. Last year i bought the cellular since the extra $60 was easily justified. This year, and since i never used the cellular function, I went with the gps aluminum. IF there was a gps stainless w/sapphire, I would have gotten that for $220 more. But considering i won't use the cellular, I can't justify paying $320 more JUST for the upgrade in materials, even though I really wanted it (and considering I dropped $1300 on the iphone max). Last consideration is that I upgrade each year, making it even more difficult for me to choose the more expensive version. But that stainless steel looks SO much better than the aluminum...it's so beautiful....
I got the gold steel Series 4 but I still use my aluminum Series 3 for work.
Little tip for remembering watch band orientation. Remember the phrase “long down”.....as you look at your watch, the long part always goes toward the bottom. 🤙🏼

I wear the watch upside down to how people usually do and on my right wrist. Which means I put the watch down on a table, set the top of my wrist on it's heart rate sensor and then fold the pin side of the band (left side) onto the underside of my wrist. I then put the right side (one with holes) ontop of the pin and it clicks into the hole. I then tuck the band in like normal. I think it's very different from everyone else, but on april 10, 2015 an apple store employee did it that way for me when he put it on my wrist so I've done it that way ever since haha.
The best way to remember is note that the buckle is always near the Digital Crown.
Once you go SS, you'll NEVER go back to aluminum. Aluminum feels extremely cheap on the wrist. SS is the way to go.
Which is why I want one but they dont sell it in the Philippines 😒

44mm still looks tiny on your wrist. There should be a 46mm version.
That’s good for the sapphire glass but that LTE is waste of money if ur not going to use it
remember always short part of the band goes for the side closer to digital crown 😉
Only issue with stainless steel version, screen is more scratch resistant but do not drop the watch, the extra weight means the screen will crack, well at lease the original watch did.
How is viewing the watch in direct sun? I have the series one and it's pretty dim in the sun.
I got the aluminum series 4, because I wear it all the time at work and I like how lightweight it is.

Just ordered a series 4 space grey aluminum. Really wish they had GPS only stainless steal, cause man does SS feel better. Looking forward to coming back to Apple Watch though! Haven’t owned one since the OG Apple Watch, ended up selling it after about a year cause it was unbearably slow. Series 4 is the first Watch since that is actually compelling for me. Had the stainless steel s7 gold for a while then sold and now using my red aluminum s7 but plan to get a series 8 silver stainless steel if the design is the same as the s7
I went SS as well 5e build quality is so much better. Little more but for this one it’s def worth it. Love my 44mm SS black

My original Apple Watch 42mm stainless steel has no scratches on the display after 3-4 years of heavy use. (I got it on launch day.) The body is completely beat to death, but the screen and ceramic back are flawless. Will buy another Stainless steel model when I replace it. That sapphire display really does eliminate almost all scratches.

Gorgeous in the SS version. Apple should've offered a better band than the one that comes with the watch. Still luv my 38mm Series3 Space Grey SS watch with the upgraded black classic leather band.so no upgrade this time😁
What is the price of the watch?
Unfortunately I live in a country where the cellular versions are not supported and can not get the space black version
So I am going to stick with my original Apple Watch Sport until they are sold over here here

My 0 is stainless steel but my new series 4 is aluminum since i had to have the Milanese loop for my skin all other bands destroy my skin literally and the milanese loop used to cost $600 canadian back when original was first out
Curious what band did you end up using ?
I was told by a staffer that you have to add AppleCare to the price $119 (AUD) to the price of the watch. Apple can’t repair major damage, they have to replace the complete watch.
My preference is the steel watch with metal, chain link band.

Yep. Series 3 and 4 are fully waterproof

It’s not “stainless steel all the way around.” The back is all ceramic with sapphire. The ceramic back was a major feature of the Series 4 enabling better cellular reception. You should know about the product you’re “reviewing.” 🙄
I understand that, but there is no need to point that out as they are all the same. The differentiating factor is the chassis.
