I loved this style of video. It’s great to see what the end result should look like and different ideas of sides. We generally do not use freezer meals on Fridays and Saturdays but will do dinners throughout the week. And we tend to only do dinners. I so want to visit all the places you guys talk about!!
lol..yes SMASH BURGERS are divine..they end up kind of crispy on the outside and so juicy. But yes when you smash the burgers, it is called smash burgers
I'm from the states and visited the Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump World Heritage site a few years ago while visiting family in Canada. I too was impressed ! Thank you for being so real and helpful and reminding me of the places I've visited Canada.
I have only been watching for a couple of weeks but I totally called it that you guys were from near Edmonton. I'm from Calgary and thought "these ladies are too friendly to be from the Calgary area".
I can’t wait until I get moved so I can start this back up! But I have been eating my freezer down for the past two mts. I have my stand up freezer empty except for dinners for this week. Then it will be ready to move to the new house. I will be moved by the end of next month so November will be my restock time.
Just a thought, a lot of people use sunflower seeds soaked in water and then blended in place of cashews or coconut. Sunflower seeds are usually allergy friendly 😊
I’m still on my cabbage quest. I’m the the one that accidentally bought quite a few pounds of cabbage. I’m learning to make a whole bunch of new meals 😊 your Moo Shu was on my list and now just found frozen moo shu wrappers that are dairy and egg free:) we have an Asian grocery store and with a little investigation in their freezer section. I found them! I’m also making alot of wontons and egg rolls and freezing them:)
I live in Southwest Missouri and have visited your beautiful mountains in Alberta, Banff, Jaspar, Peyto Lake, and Saskatchewan Crossing. I love them all and and remember that moose roamed the streets in Jaspar and wonder if they do now after the terrible fire.
I'm so glad you were able to visit our majestic mountains! We love them so much! And yes, absolutely the deer will be back wandering the streets of Jasper. Residents are back home in Jasper and while there was a lot of devastation, things are getting back to normal.
Yes, I have oat milk for other things like smoothies and my daughter likes it for iced coffee. I can sub regular milk for coconut milk as well. Or evaporated milk. I have options! 😅
Do you guys have jicama taco shells near you? Their a delightful option for gluten free corn free peeps. I buy mine at trader joes. I love them with salmon tacos but I'm sure that they'd be great with chicken tacos too.
We have heard of people doing that with crock pots and instant pots. We don't because we do so many meals at a time, it would take forever to freeze them all. But yes, people do it and then vacuum seal their meal. It keeps forever like that!
I don't understand why you won't eat beef but will eat chicken. However I don't eat chicken but I will eat beef. Im sure my reasons are different from yours.
Too much yapping yapping! Not useful and very disrespectful of your viewers’ time! Gotta leave this video - haven’t got one piece of helpful information 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
The audible gasp that came from me when I heard that the new mega session was made up of 100% new recipes. Genuine excitement!
What we eat in a week... 1.5 hrs later! I'm here for it ❤ can't wait for the next mega! I knew it was due soon... had to be!
Prepping now for it!

(Sharla here) Your comment made me laugh out loud and then I immediately sent it to Christie with laughing emojis!

Good luck with your move! Will you still be in the same area?
I hide leftover halloween candy in the freezer bag... An old frozen spinach bag 😅
Genius!😂
🤣🤣
Two of the hardest working lazy women you will ever meet. When you make these meals yourself you can make them any which way you want! Mic Drop!
🤣🤣
love this video! All of your meals are always hits :)
Yay! Thank you!
Just a thought, a lot of people use sunflower seeds soaked in water and then blended in place of cashews or coconut. Sunflower seeds are usually allergy friendly 😊
That's a great idea! Thank you!
I just love the chat 😊

Excellent! I'm glad you're making headway with all that cabbage! 😅
Smash burger😂 you have me laughing so hard! 11:54
And then the next thing you talk about is head SMASHED in buffalo jump.
When I'm on a roll...
@@FreezerMeals101 🤣
I always make my own brown sugar. It's so much better and somehow doesn't dry out in hard chunks the way other bought between sugar does.

Fantastic video.
Ditl of Sharla, yes please.
Smash burger
Smash burgers.
Yes! Thank you!
Smash burgers
Have you ever tried oat milk? I love it in loo of coconut milk!
You can juice the limes and lemons and put them in ice trays and freeze it until you need fresh lemon or lime juice!
Yes, I have oat milk for other things like smoothies and my daughter likes it for iced coffee. I can sub regular milk for coconut milk as well. Or evaporated milk. I have options! 😅
I use molasses in baked beans and rhubarb salsa.
Yes, of course baked beans. That makes sense. Rhubarb salsa sounds delicious! I bet the molasses is good in it as well!

We don't that I've seen. We don't have Trader Joe's in Canada. I'll keep my eye out for them here though. That sounds like a good alternative. Thanks!
Smashed burgers
Do you guys ever freeze your freezer meals in a 'crock pot shape'?
Would that work out right to cook in a crock pot?
We have heard of people doing that with crock pots and instant pots. We don't because we do so many meals at a time, it would take forever to freeze them all. But yes, people do it and then vacuum seal their meal. It keeps forever like that!
Smash burgers?
Yep! Smash burgers which we did realize after filming!
I don't understand why you won't eat beef but will eat chicken. However I don't eat chicken but I will eat beef. Im sure my reasons are different from yours.
Yep everyone has their reasons! 😅

Hey Jim, I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree about what’s disrespectful…
