I love how Elden Ring’s greatest plot twist is shown to you at the very beginning of the cinematic With that said, where’s the og demons souls cinematic?
"Thou who art Undead, art *chosen."* "For that is your fate, the fate of the *cursed."* "Nameless, accursed Undead, unfit even to be cinder. And so it is, that *ash* seeketh embers." "You must be the new *Hunter."* "Listen *Wolf,* you must never forget the Shinobi Code." "And one other, whom Grace would again bless. A *Tarnished* of no renown."
I dunno what it is but the lady who does the Dark Souls opening narrations really sells me on it each time. I'm not sure if it's the same person for all 3 but each one is great.
@@LuM4rex Yeah but the style using paintings really makes the intro pop. I think it makes it really unique compared to the other Souls games. Sure, I think that the other intros had good animation, but the painting style is just something new. Not to mention that there's paintings throughout the game that you can actually discover, which makes the intro make a little more sense.
It seems like a lot of people don't really understand Elden Ring's opening and dismiss it as "bad" for being simple. They went with a style they don't usually go for, and it, for the most part, worked. It didn't have amazing visuals, but it didn't try to. It didn't leave us wondering about what we were heading into, but it didn't try to; it literally starts by saying "the fallen leaves tell a story". It wasn't anything groundbreaking, but it wasn't trying to be: it gave the player exposition through a medium that isn't often explored, made it brief, and got the player into the game ASAP. It might not be the best intro of the series, but it shouldn't be written off as "bad" for being simple.
their minds have become so numb from entertainment they miss the message that these games try to deliver regurgitating the opinions of the masses like zombies
Eldin Ring has the worst introduction of them all. All long time souls players were let down by Eldin Rings introduction. The game is fantastic though.
I like bloodborne and demon souls opening it's the only opening where it shows the charecter using it's weapon EDIT : by charecter i mean the protaginist
Of the games i’ve played my preferred openings r Ds3 Elden ring Sekiro PS i’m new to the series literally got elden ring last september and got ds3 a few days ago Ds3 feels much easier than elden ring(boss wise)
@@ultra9349 yea but no specific boss. You fight Radagon regardless. You said all named enemies are big bosses or related to big bosses, which is is not the case
It’s to tell a story, show something. It doesn't have to be a huge 3d with divine music and action. Elden Ring is conceptual, and that's a positive point
I swear ever time I hear yhorm the giants howl it gives me goosebumps,it goes so well with the setting and the music, gives a eerie vibe to it imo

I love the ds1 intro, but man the voice acting, art, and music for the elden ring intro is on another level
the elden ring intro is the worst in this list

I totally disagree but ok
The ER intro is a joke and no I'm not just counting the part where the guy says the funny dung thing.
@@zpd7106 Just more evidence the game needed more time to be worked on and fleshed out.

cope
Agree.
But it is the best intro of the series
their minds have become so numb from entertainment
they miss the message that these games try to deliver
regurgitating the opinions of the masses like zombies
nobody was even saying cope years back
Thank you for the awesome video. I don't suppose you would consider making and edit that uses the original Demon's Souls intro?
bro the Demon's Souls Remake caught me off guard, I forgot how much it was upscaled in terms of detail and allat
also I'm not liking just so it stays at 420 likes, but I'll come back to check and see if it goes up, then i'll like lol
They are all beautifully made but Elden Ring's one truly gave me goosebumps

@@timetravelingoldman6839 that’s a fact.
@@timetravelingoldman6839 Elden Ring has the best music and the voice acting, but I agree the actual visuals were underwhelming
ER one is a joke. They didn't have the time or budget.
@@timetravelingoldman6839 They already made a cinematic trailer but that doesnt used as the intro for the game. It's mind-boggling
All are great
The best is
Demon souls not remake
Darksouls 1
Dark souls3
Sekiro
Bloodborne
Fact. True Soulsborne fans accept all of those intros.
@@yoelchristian6332ER and DS1 are the best. Followed by BB and DS2/3
No demon's souls ps3 ☹️
He already showed Demon Souls
@@timetravelingoldman6839 He didn't, Demon's Souls remake is not Demon's Souls
DS2 with the king of intros 🤘
Nah. It's the most pretentious and does the worst job of setting up the game.
@@CookiesFTA wrong
Too bad it has virtually nothing to do with the main game, that’s my issue.
U only say to be different. If u actually break it down it's by far the worst and actually discourages the player. Foh
@@jjjordan3881 Nah. Dark Souls II intro is a great one
Perhaps you have seen it give me chills
Shame you used the Demon's Souls remake intro instead of the real Demon's Souls one.
Agreed. The remake was good, but the intensity of the original musical arrangement was epic.
I like bloodborne and demon souls opening it's the only opening where it shows the charecter using it's weapon
EDIT : by charecter i mean the protaginist
The greatest intro : yes indeed
If you listen to that intro with a high quality headphone, youll feel it in your skin when yhorm screams.

I died so much in demon souls original i knew where all the mobs pop out from 😅 if hell was demon souls sign me up. Eternity of demon souls
The best is elden ring imo. The voice, the music, the atmosphere. Its just amazing
Funny for elden ring
All named enemies r big big bosses or in fia’s case is related to a big big boss, and then there’s dung eater
The ever brilliant goldmask is in no way a boss or related to one😂

how the art is so good
Braindead comment.
What if all these games share genes similar to Fire Emblem?
What do you mean?
Not gonna lie kinda miss the old demons souls Intro. The under glow of some of the bosses was kind of a turn off for the remake.
Esogod
👍
God can you imagine if you actually got to fight the dragon god as a real boss instead of just a stupid gimmick fight
Is sekiro even in the dark souls universe? It doesn't fit.
No it’s not
Well to be fair neither is Bloodborne, Demon souls, or Elden ring.
no
No fs games are in the same universe other than the dark souls series
2nd!
Lol at all the cinematics than we get a powerpoint slideshow for elden ring, a game that good deserved a better intro
