dude the voice actors did NOT get paid enough, they all did phenomenal jobs, especially horah loux, that “i have given thee courtesy enough” was so chilling the first time i heard it
They were decent but I don't think a lot of it is particularly spectacular. There are more than an average amount of mediocre line deliveries. Be that because of lack of talent or the directors not directing the talent well enough is not an answer anyone can really answer.

Maliketh when he recognises you is quite sad. It's feels like he doesn't want you to go down this path because you might get hurt or die but he realises he has no choice but to carry his duty.

Rennala actually has another line of dialogue where she thanks you for being reborn multiple times. I'm not sure how many it takes to trigger that though.

Moghs voice changes from being low and calm cause hes talking to someone he wants to protect (even though he kidnapped miquela) to a deeper and more intimidating one
Nobody cannot truly die since the rune of death has been removed, the death is restored to the Elden ring after beating Malekith, that's why Godfrey has short dialouge at the end.
Small detail, but towards the end of the Morgott and Margit cutscenes, both cameras pan back into the same exact angle behind the player, with Margit/Morgott taking up the entirety of the right side of the screen. Very cool :)
I'll never forget the first time I fought this guy. I got to 2nd phase and was getting ready to fight him and Serosh at the same time, then he just fucking kills his lion, throws away his axe and armor and proceeds to beat the shit out of you. 10/10 boss.
I like how you beat the ever loving shit out of Ranni's mom, but she still allows you to be under her service and even happily marries you should you choose the Age of Stars ending. Like "Hey mother-in-law, 'member the time I tried to kill you for your Great Rune? Nasty business that was. No hard feelings though right?"
Judging by the magical shroud and aura when phase 2 starts, I'm pretty sure Ranni just summons a spirit version of her mother at the peak of her power. The current Rennala is too obsessed with her egg and Radagon's abandonment to actually attack you. She doesn't even fight back in phase 1.
tarnished are by nature rejected by the edtree and the grace of gold. its a phenomenon that we are getting grace to guide us to the erdtree. godfrey is also a tarnished, and in fact the grace we see in the opening cinematic is actually his guidance of grace pointing him to us.
Godfrey is also guided by grace to kill us and claim our great runes. It is even visible in his cutscene. Due to gameplay reasons obviously he can't claim our runes for himself. But lorewise, we are spurned by grace at this moment, as it much prefers Godfrey to us. After we kill Godfrey, it once more backs us.
I love how Godfrey's opening lines silence all background audio. I wish they kept what they did with him in the network test. He was originally supposed to go to 0 health and then become Horah Loux with FULL HEALTH, much like Malenia. They also cut a few lines from player deaths: Phase 1: Tarnished Warrior, T'was nobly fought. Thy rest is well deserved. Horah Loux Defeated: Brave Tarnished... Thy strength befits a crown. (Followed by a hearty laugh)
The pause after godfrey said serosh meant he probably did end up liking serosh since it's like his calming type thing to keep him from going full ape shit tarnished mode
I low-key wanna see a compilation of bosses dying to a riposte instead of just dying standing up cause seeing al these bosses who whup your ass and make you rage the whole game dying on their knees or fallen down is actually very therapeutic and really satisfying to see

I would like to add about Morgott that in his eyes, even with his loyalty and devotion to the erdtree he is not worthy to become elden lord. Therefore, in service to the erdtree and his own beliefs he's conjured up after years of blind devotion due to the betrayal of every single individual around him, he dutifully attempts to preserve that which had given him comfort his whole life. He is one of the only men doing his job in the land's between. And you. Tarnished. You just got here. There have been MILLIONS of you. What makes you think you are worthy of even making witness to all the erdtree has to offer and being in its' presence, let alone becoming the elden lord! Spitting in the face of a man who has fought his entire life simply by stepping into his presence. You receive the full force of his power. He is no longer the illusion of power you met in margit. He is Morgott, the Omen King. "Have it writ upon thy meagre grave: Felled by King Morgott! Last of all kings!"
