- Okay here it finally is, the TOA 500 Teaching Stream. This is from the experience of someone with 100s of 500 completions just to give example as to supply usage and general rundown. There is so much variability with invocations and different player ability, but this is what I've settled on as best invocations if you know what you are doing. Drop the ZCB for more restore and you have MORE than enough restore for the entire raid. Don't bring 10+ restores, don't drop BGS, don't drop switches, go in and do some damage!

This isn't for budget or no keris, this is for people who have all the gear needed wanting an outline of what to do. I might try and do a budget run later down the road.
You might want to put that in the title for clarity, It's still good content, but right off the bat the invo list isn't all that good for someone without shadow imo
500 isn’t worth doing without a shadow unless you are a pvm god, in which case you wouldn’t be watching this video. It took molgoatkirby many tries to do It with a bofa
Hey can you make a tutorial about how you organize your bank? I had to buy slot extensions twice by now and still hit the cap regularly and idk what im doing wrong tbh especially seeing you have a whole tab with just potions of all sizes is unthinkable for me in my own bank

@@jamescasimir726 lol? dunno if this is a joke but it's not all that hard without shadow. Will just take more time/effort obviously. I did it with bowfa/trident/fang on my ironman. Many others have as well. You don't even need ancestral or claws or whatever. I did it with mystic robes.

The start of this video is all the evidence I need to start running infernos with my just.
For anyone trying to get used to red xing baba. I highly recommend holding down Ctrl key to walk rather than turning off run. Its much safer and best practice imo. Easy to avoid gap, or easy deaths from mess ups like boulder throw or ground explosion.
Also best way to learn is to do entry mode with pathfinder on, and max innvos for specific boss. Then just practice and you'll get down, red xing and butterflying

@@Theviewerdude default option is that if you're running, ctrl makes you walk and if you are walking, ctrl makes you run, it's very useful in zammy because you can ctrl walk to 'waste' those 2 ticks in the 5:0 method
I spent over an hour today trying to do woox walk during vorkath barrage. Didn't complete the task and died 3 times.

Took me like a week of grinding 500s with 20 deaths for my first 500 completion, and I did it in 52 minutes with hands shaking and no restores. You made it look pissy easy, wtf

When I was doing my 500 attempts, I was boosting my prayer at my poh before a run, not needed but helps!
Entered p4 with 3/4 of a super restore left thinking I had no hope. Somehow made it to the end and got it, appreciate your content heaps, it's what inspired me to try a 500 in the first place. Loving the fang kit :D

half of this is due to the fact that he makes high level content most often only using high level gear and plugins but then continues to complain about the difficulty of the game.
I have 500kc and a fang kit and just learned from your video that baba thralls and shamans drain prayer. Only 10 min in but so glad I’m waiting this

for people who strugle, just bring bgloves instead of zaryte/fer, no anguish and not masori mask, gives u 3 more restores which should be plenty

Correct me if I’m wrong. I thought I heard that your dmg dealt at p2 warden was based on accuracy (not strength) and that would make augury worth using
It does not give shadow a max hit in max gear, it definitely gives sang max hits so it depends
Sorry for bugging you but is Augury specifically a 3% dps increase with only a shadow and 500 invocation, or would it still be only a 3% dps increase if you was using say a trident of the swamp and 300 invocation raid?
It would be different. In my kick/twitch chat there's a !calc command, you can input all of these factors in :D also, not bugging

When doing ba-ba red X i usually mess up by missing the click on the restore, i'm noticing you click a tile near the restore before clicking the restore, could you explain why and if it helps ? thanks!
I didn't even know I did this, you have a tick of leeway before red click matters
doing consistent 300 solo's and im starting to notice it does not seem feasible or even worth the time to do anything above 350 without having max gear i did 1 350 to get my masori kit with bandos/ahrims/crystal with bowfa (plus no keris gem in 40 expert kc and 101 normal kc) and it was over 50 mins simply do to lack of dps
If u seeing purps at a rate u like then stay if not move invo up until that's how I've seen toa, longer raid times can pay off with better odds at chest especially in solo imo
Something is going seriously wrong for a 350 to take 50 mins no matter the gear, and there's too many possibilities for me to guess
Bro I do 350s with crystal, ahrims/trident, bandos/fang and get 36-38min raids on mobile. It's possible just gotta keep practicing and see what saves u time. I've looked at ton of speedruns and see how ppl shave off seconds on everything.
Do you have max combat stats, fang, a def draining weapon and rigour?
Red-x'ing with hasta, having a normal keris for high invoc kephri, hasta for ba-ba/akkha can be rough below 90 attack
Having none of the above might honestly cost you close to 10 minutes compared to having them all

I click past them purposely so even if they spawn I don't accidental click them but u can always just use shift-click makes it ez

@@Reldonator There's a setting in runelite that hides attack on left click when holding down the shift key. Makes butterflying while the shadows are up a lot easier. I think the option is in menu entry swapper.
Love the content good video would love to see a video on how to run this raid if you were just learning to use dehydration and no help needed I feel it's easy raid level if you know how to run it properly 😊
you should rename this vid to 500 flexing stream hahaha. I did my 500 with bofa and 12 rests + fally shield 4. Gnome says only 4 hahahah. The humour/victim blaming made me enjoy this vid.

I just wanted to say I have overly draining on/pathfinder off and 40 min timer and I seem to get 36 min avg with skull skipping. Wouldnt that be better?
Overly draining loses much more time than pathfinder, pathfinder also gives additional points due to HP
Alternatively I can put on pathseeker and take off overly draining but then Im obligated to bring chins, zcb and way less restores. Personally I bring 7 in to chill 4 just seem way to sus for my liking
I watched this the other day (even though i can do 500s) and i forgot to tank the orbs lul. I died at p3, kephris big ass fireball just threw me off and my brain went derp derp.
Don't wait to late to tank orbs and accidentally not do it.
Just came back to the game after a 3 year break and wanted to start PVMing (having never done much before)... I don't think I will be doing this for a while lol
Sometimes the skulls when I am standing next to them 1-2 away it still hits me. I’ve died to this before idk why the f it happens sometimes so now I never stand next to them I run all over to make sure I avoid any skull because this has happened to many times to me at this point and I’m running 405s

Gnome monkey, on your max video/rebuild you made if you had to restart you said after quest cape you would do gauntlet then nex for your cash for max armour weapon etc, I’m currently following your loose guide and wanted to know if instead of gauntlet or nex what about toa solo or muspah? Asking cause these weren’t out when you made the video. Are these more profitable now then your original video or is nex/gauntlet still supreme for a mostly solo player? I seem to do 3-4m hour at muspah and I can do solo toa 150-250 all day. Still need bowfa though Thanks for your time

Pegs are awful sub 1% dps increase, you do takeoffs or just camp prims

@@Knifing4Dayz Do a 150 with a budget weapon and just camp last row. I did 150s with a magic longbow to replicate tbow/shadow. If Bowfa is your main weapon then bring a MSB on accurate. You'll only get hit 20s by Zebak so It gives you a ton of leeway to mess up and learn the final row. I did that and now I rarely die to insanity
If you’re not comfortable skill skipping or remembering what position you’ll need to be in after skills, you can camp the middle tile in the back of the room. You’ll have lots of time to react to whichever way the warden turns.
Keep at it, king. I was also in the exact same situation where I had bowfa and struggled to learn insanity just because of the last row. However, with a bit of practice it basically becomes second nature - I've clutched many duos and a trio once on p4 insanity.
Before last row, move 3 times to empty tiles before firing. Is the tile you're gonna fire on clear? Fire. Else, move once more to a clear tile.
For last row, the thing that was tripping me up the most was the ba-ba boulder, as I'd keep running into my own like an idiot. However, it became a non-issue once I learned to take note of my position and just not step on the same times. As for lightnings, I like stay on the left side so I can see what attacks zebak is doing, then looking which lightnings are going to hit first, and clicking on them from a "safe" tile a tick before they hit.

and the second one I think it's either NPC indicators or Object Markers, having to select to show true tile, I don't recall where I set that up

whats the plugin that changes the border colour under akkha when he switches attack styles would help immensely for stay vigilant
In case you still need it, it's called radius markers. If you get it then do a generic Google search like "akkha radius markers" you will find the text you can copy and import to your plugin

Regarding augury at p2, this was new to me tbh. I did some testing today on RL ~100 or whatever it was, and counted number of staff hits for a down. No difference between augury/no augury with shadow. I only did 6 samples of each, so it's definitely not certain. Tests with trident showed 7% improvement with augury on, so all I can say is that it was inconclusive lol. Does anyone have any additional information on this?
I just got yellow shard for my keris. When do i use it over fang?
Wiki says fang is better than all of the keris
People do it with no yellow keris, full crystal, fighter torso, and mystics so that I can do it on my iron thanks.
Dose it matter what thralls you use I want to try it with tralls but not sure if I should even attempt it. I’ve done almost 300 KC and I can’t seem to get past 300 invos I don’t know if it’s my gear or my strategy that’s failing me
Could be a combination of both. Thrall type only matters at akkha and warden. Akkha, mage thrall always. P1/2 warden melee, p3 mage.
Mage thrall is the best when it doesn't matter, use melee thrall at P2

What does "normal 500 mean"?
He usually runs 500s with his alt account scaling up the raid so he has better chance at purps but for the guide he ran a solo
safe, no weird restrictions, good for a first fang kit. a not normal 500 would be like if going for speed run money 500s or some weird attempt with only no shadow no yellow keris

It is pretty show offy, but if you watch the vid to emulate how he kills the bosses it's a good learning tool. Obviously most people won't be able to e.g. range switch zcb baba while red-xing.
