Thank ya! It may be delayed a bit, depending on how much life FatShark breathes into the game in the coming weeks. Hope you have a blast with the Helbore!
this one looks really good, really fun. i had a build similar to this but with infantry autoguns, with sustained fire and punishing salvo, and using it like a burst fire gun. high damage and high weakspot damage. im gonna give this one a try with the helbore. yours looks more effective on armored targets tho.
Bro, I always play as a krieg with the Lucius and this is the first time that I learn you can make a charge with that rifle, I only stabed with this in close combats
I dunno, .... Executioner's + headshot keystone + headshot dmg after alt seems like massive ranged dmg overkill. Charged helbore 1 can 1shot most things without these buffs.
Boosts damage to Armoured targets like Crushers / Maulers (Especially with the Mk 1 as it does the same low Carapace as the mk 2) and gives the Mk 3 power to 1 shot Crushers, which it can not do without both. Also nobody has Ex Stance up 100% of the time despite the potential for it to be, so the keystone also retains some breakpoints outside of the ultimate. They also boost damage to Monstrosities heavily. Without either buffs the Mk 1 can't 1 shot anything above Gunners/Shotgunners. Having both also reduces the margin of error when it comes to 1 shots, because the breakpoints can be extremely fine with 1 or the other with some enemies. So having both will make you perform more consistently regardless of overkill damage. With the Mk 2 having both is just a flat out bonus.
This build is fine, but the semi auto headhunter is leagues better then this gun. The ammo mangement can be a problem when compared to the MK2 Lasrifle, but it can also 2 to 4 tap Crushers as well. Get +25% carapace damage, the 90% Critcal blessing and surgical blessing, and bam. Immediately outperforms this build by changing the gun despite operating the same. Also, please stop using that old shovel. The new foldable version is a straight improvement of the standard issue with no downsides. You get the realiable heavy crowd control PLUS the single target action that does devasting damage to make quick work of elites and ragers. Slap thrust and the blessing does more damage the more staggered an enemy is, and you can 1 to 2 tap depending on what extra perk damage you have on.
Not sure why the need to compare another weapon. The Powersword is infinitely better than any melee weapon on vet, yet almost every other weapon is still fun and can be used at any difficulty. Krieg use Lucius pattern Lasgun, so another weapon being stronger is irrelevant. For Hordes, the old Standard Issue shovel is almost twice as good as the Mk 7 Shovel & even better still than the Mk 3, as shown by raw data in Reginalds most recent video. We don't need it for any other target in this build, so using the old one is better.
@@TheWileSpice the axes are pretty horrible on damnation and higher, wdym? Even if your ranged weapon is for horde clearing and cc on waves of mobs, using the axe on auric is a death sentence. "Just for fun" is used too much as an excuse for when making a "build" video where open topics of discussion is what makes the number crunching into display. You can use chainsword for vet on damnation, I've done it, but it's special takes too much commitment, and it's cleave against hordes of flak and mixed mobs will wittle you down compared to using the energized power sword or shovel's heavy horizontal. Shit, you could be a melee vet that uses a shotgun as a ranged backup, but shotguns are pretty terrible when you can just have a pocket plasma gun for burst fire or a quick snipe. Most of your builds are just too gatcha on cringe ass role players, and people who refuse to learn the mechanics and try their to best to get carried on higher difficulties. Their the ones who complain on reddit about new skins every day, and then in game chat blame fat shark for anything they themselves do wrong. That's the way I see it.
@@flipsvstheworld i mean people play this over Valorant or whatever bs is sold to kids by their favorite streamer these days because of the setting, so you cant really call ppl cringy just because they use a 40k lore accurate setup in a 40k game, tbh tryhards & the "pro gamers" are much more cringe, imagine reducing all this awesome stuff we have in game to a weird looking "meta build" just because the damage numbers go up slightly faster, might aswell just multiply numbers really fast in Excel to get that dopamine fix.... I agree that a lot of players need to be carried on pretty much everything above malice, but so what? Tryhards should be happy because of the extra challenge & others just have fun even if it goes south, atleast the action was there and everybody has to start somewhere. Dont lock up too much on the numbers, its just a game and its made to be fun for everybody, even for those who dont really understand it, everything else is secondary especially what twats on reddit & co. have to say.
I could honestly listen to this man talk about paint drying and still have a good time
Thought it was just me😂
Hahaha, got a chuckle from me!
Good to see another vid from you, Wile!
Looking forward to the next "Which is Best?" vid, and now I also know how best to build the Helbore Lasgun.
Thank ya!

20k subs already. I fully expect a special episode when you hit 40k
I know right! It's surreal every time I see it haha. 40k has to be something for sure, would be an iconic milestone!
Really good video, I like how all the info is shown like which ability name + what the effects look like in the background.
Glad you enjoyed the video!
return of the king
Haha, flattering words my friend!
I came, I saw, and I remain kinda bad at the Lucius patterns.
Hahaha, it's definitely an art. A great one once you get used to a certain level of Helbore jank!

This is indeed a Epic Korps of Krieg build I am having so much fun with this build tyvm!
'Tis my pleasure! Glad you're enjoying it.

Its a game changer once you start doing it. Great for movement and repositioning.
WHAT IS MY DUTY? TO SERVE THE EMPERORS WILL! WHAT IS THE EMPERORS WILL? THAT I FIGHT AND DIE. WHAT IS DEATH? IT IS MY DUTY.
I liked when he said it's kriegin time and krieged all over them
Welcome Back!
I'm new to 40k lore but does the krieg also use the plasma gun? And would it work well with this build?
HES BACK BOI'S :D
As a newer player, I would appreciate it if you could actually explain what the perks do, how they interact and how to nake the most of them.
Same
Wonderful presentation! My build is very similar to yours tbh so ofc I like it xD
Thank ya! Powerful stuff ain't it!
can anybody tell me when the next cosmetic rotate is ?so i can get the armour
did they change the Onslaught blessing perk to another name?
I think it's called Weight of Fire now. It's definitely still there, but the name also changed.
👍👍👍👍
@The Wile Spice When do we get a catachan jungle fighter build or Sly Marbo build
Quick question, can this build still be used today?
It's a bit out-dated but should work fine still :)
New player here, how do you make it so the charce indicators while ADSing are closer to the center of the screen?
Its a mod called Crosshairs :)
Miss the darktide vids man 💔
If the content update is good then there could be a return :)
@@TheWileSpice hopefully!
What blessings should i use?
On the rifle
Weight of Fire & Surgical 100% of the time if you can get both :)

is it me or is there only Mk IV and Mk V now? cause im only finding those
the marks have changed since the unlocked and loaded patch. gameslantern still has old preview vids of each gun. those show the old marks.
og shovel is best into hordes, and no need for folding if you can just kill crushers with your hellbore
Exactly!
Too bad they removed BM with bayonet!
Yeah! Was a pretty beastly interaction. Thankfully its still insanely strong without it!
