Thanks for another informative video. One thing I found is that when you’re taking the bearing cups out, the shaft is still installed (not as you demonstrated). I use the older black oxide tool. Then you can use a bolt and flat washer through the square socket wrench hole to hold the tool on. Then you can break it loose with an open end wrench. Same goes for re-installation.

I love hearing that clicking sound of the torque wrench.

You can in fact hear the threads seat at 8:45 if you have your volume rather high, and see the edge towards the rear wheel drop in closer against the bottom bracket shell. Very well shot to capture that, I commonly find I wished the author of any given bike video were more distinct against their background noise and had more appropriately framed the recording. Good knowledge on display. Do you find you have a preference between grease or anti-seize compound for the threads and the contact points between the bottom bracket/spindle and the shell?

Thanks for the kudos. I default to grease unless it’s a ti frame or a bb with a bad history.

Thanks for video, it includes a lot of detailed instruction, things like body mechanics, grease application and thread engagement. I would suggest you modify your text insert. In particular the placement of it in the center of screen while discussing thread engagement was very distracting and likely even unnecessary. Also part of the text is cut off. If you want to leave text on screen place it out of central viewing area, move to bottom or top left right etc. Also change the text box dimensions to fit all the text

Did you torque it on both sides or just the drive side?

Yes, both sides. Individual threads will be treated independently.
