On the bayonet latches, I recently saw a video of someone getting 2 of these from J&G which had 1930's production dates, one with the original style, and one with the lever lock.
Can you speak more on the 1943-on rifles without arsrnal markings? That is, why omitted? (Made under German supervision?) Poorer quality? Thanks... GREAT video!
30:33 The picture you showed was of carcano carbines imported from Italy not Ethiopia. They are actually more desirable because the import mark was on the barrel and they keep the last issued serial number.
The rifles from Italy do tend to be in decent shape. If the missing handguard doesn't bother you then they're a pretty decent deal. Finding a replacement handguard won't be too easy right now due to so many rifles missing them and all the spares getting bought up.
Glad to see a different pod cast on Milsurps subbed

yea, my bad, those were the "good ones" - I edit sometimes when I am tired :)
Get video 🎉 Quick question: what is the story about RTIs carcanos from italy with the missing top handguards? Worth buying at $150 a pop?

I have a 7.35x51 Carcano carbine. Is there a collectors group out there where one could get info and possibly accessories?
How to pronounce "carbine" ? ua-cam.com/video/Vg2fSD2Vl58/v-deo.html
