I actually get annoyed when a designer makes a mistake in a pattern. Sometimes, I figure it out on my own. Even when they try to help me through email, it is difficult to understand what they are talking about. Understanding the construction of a garment helps a lot. thank you for posting this wonderful tutorial. Now I will share it with my granddaughter who is in college.

Did this with a size 5 fuzzy yarn from Michael’s and it was amazing! Took me forever ( about 20 hours) but that’s just fine!I also reccomend having more yarn. I did do it cropped but I still used way more maybe a hook size thing ( I used a size 7 )

hey there! relatively new to crochet & was wondering how i could increase the size of this sweater. i've upped the increase chain from 1 to 2 and have done more rows that you did in the video but somehow it hasn't gotten wide enough and still feels tight around my shoulder. any advice is greatly welcomed as i have restarted this project two times now :')

noo don't give up you can totally do it!!! It's just to figure out where to put the increases! sometimes I just eye ball it too so you can always skip the math part 🙃
you can customize the length to whatever best fits! If you have a light weight you may want to do more rows, versus a heavier weight yarn you might need to do less rows.

the best way I've found is to just chain an amount and then try it on and add more or less chains depending on how it fits! I've had people make this in a lot of sizes so it's definitely just about adjusting it to fit your body best :)

I've really enjoyed Hobbii's Rainbow Cotton, you might like it too! You can always try "blocking" the piece to get it back to its original shape. There are tons of tutorials on youtube and Tiktok to help you with that !
I’m a bit confused- when I make the chains one of them is at the top of the Double crochet and the next is at the bottom, making it so that when I try and do the next row the chain isn’t even with the row.
my math is not adding up on this. how do you get the markers to all be the same amount from each other??? I end up with like four extra stitches I feel so dumb
dont know if you need help still but you should make sure to go into the stitches around the hole where the increases go and not the chain you make to fit the increases.. i tend to make my raglans 20 percent on the sides and 30 in the middle so i think having an even number for how you want to divide your increases into is important.. odd numbers can make it difficult to calculate where to put them.

Just one stitch difference should be fine and not noticeable :) If it bothers you not to have an even number you can either decrease or increase one where you are.

And if you’re looking for a specific yarn (like color or material) I suggest looking on eBay! I could do a video on how I buy yarn on fb marketplace/eBay at some point!

If you want the sleeves to be bigger could you change the percentages to maybe 20% and 30% or does it not work like that
it absolutely can!! i do this method quite a lot. if you want a more relaxed fit it also helps to do 20-30!

they did the neckline tighter so i think that might be why, you can add ribbing later on to fix the rectangular look as well!
Do you have to have a specific number of chains at the start for the maths to work? Got to the mathsy part and mine isn’t working!
no i dont think so but having a number than can easily divide into 4 quadrants (aka even numbers) will surely help

Yes! That's how I like to do it but you can probably just go around in one direction if you prefer :)
How many wool buns you used ? I dont know that yard thing and there is nothing on my wool bun so thats why

You could try chaining 3 in the corners instead of 2!! With a thinner yarn this may work better to increase

hmm i think the same amount of 2 stitches, its just about the spacing and being able to see it while also keeping it neat
