So good to keep gathering people who love this unique BM song and become one of your favorites, it's one of mine too.
The live at Budokan 2021 proshot version took a while to come out thanks to the fans who pushed this song for a live proshot version due to the failed and unreleased Hollywood Palladium 2016 version you just saw with only fancams footage. Still this song is highly underated and that's sad.
While 2nd album Metal Resistance Japanese edition got "Syncopation" as an exclusive track, International album version got this FDTD exclusive track, one of the three songs with full English lyrics.
Btw the "girl" who left the group is called *YuiMetal* 🦊🤘

I was at the Hollywood Palladium concert for the world premiere of this song back in 2017.
That's the fancam footage in this compilation video..
Would have loved to see one of the two Budokan 2021 performances.
They took it to a new level.
Even though they had a full camera crew, apparently there were rights issues that prevented the pro-shot footage from the Palladium concert from being released.
Fortunately we now have pro footage from one of the 2021 Budokan concerts, even if it's only included on the most expensive, "THE ONE" fanclub only complete edition.
Great & thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。This song has been performed only 3 times to date. A limited number of fans who were at Hollywood Palladium on June 16, 2017 had been privileged to experience this song for 4 years. On February 16, 2021, when the intro started, everyone at Budokan was firstly shocked and gradually god excited understanding what was going to happen. At the end of the song, however, everyone got confused with what he / she witnessed because it was too surprising and mesmerizing. On the following day (Feb.17), the audiences came to the venue expecting the setlist would remain the same and FDTD would be played again. Once this song started many of them (including me) just stared at the stage without moving as if they were trying to burn the performance into their retinas. Su-Metal did it perfectly. "In the air ! (or In the end!)" Divine voice. And Moa and Momoko did perfect choreo like angels smoothly dancing around the goddess. Oh! I actually saw and listened to it twice for sure, but still "was it real?" (Even after reconfirmed it in Blu-ray video)

Good reaction. 'From Dusk Till Dawn' was only on the international release - the Japanese release had 'Syncopation' instead as a Japan exclusive.
They had only played FDTD once live - at the Hollywood Palladium in 2017. Because of some copyright dispute or something the pro-shot video was never released, we only had fancam videos of that performance (this compilation video used a lot of those), so when they finally played it live again at the Budokan shows in 2021 the fans were waiting impatiently for the DVD and pro-shot video. Unfortunately this video hasn't used do much of that - that was the stage you remarked on.

Yea the lyrics is still unofficial, but i think Papa Xan and the BMRR version did a great and more accurate job with the translation.🦊🤘

Trust me nobody is taking a intermission break when this song is played they played the song two or three times at the 10 Babymetal years budokan 10th anniversary shows before that they only played it once at the Hollywood palladium in 2017

Great reaction and yes, it is my favorite song too ❤. Too bad they didn’t play it live that often. I was so happy that it was on the set list for the 10 Babymetal Budokan shows and the performance was out of this world (that was the cake stage you were so impressed by).

"From Dusk Till Dawn" is what we got at the western release of their 2016 Album "Metal Resistance". In my humble opinion, the song from the original Japan release ("Syncopation") is, at least, equally as good. Though it is more conventional compared to FDTD. But I really love both songs!
