This song was on the international release of the album, so it was the only song from the first two albums that they didn't play over the course of the two nights at Tokyo Dome in 2016. They had played it live only once in 2017 at the Hollywood Palladium ... but the pro-shot video from that performance was never released (some sort of copyright issues apparently), so all we had to watch were shaky fancam videos with fancam quality audio. When they did a vote for the 10 top songs to go on the 10 BABYMETAL Years album the fans got together and voted this one in. It did not make it to the album despite that, but they did finally play it live again in two of the 10 Budokan concerts in 2021 ... and finally we got the pro-shot video we had all been wanting for so long. The other song you have left to hear is 'Syncopation' - a very different but equally great song. That was the Japan exclusive track that took the place of 'From Dusk Till Dawn' on the Japanese release of the album.

Su usually sings with a natural voice. But she sang the song in falsetto first so she could sing higher and softer. Then switch back to the natural voice to sing more powerfully. Another song I remember her singing in falsetto is - BabyMetal - Tsubasa Wo Kudasai ( Legend D live 2012 ). Thanks for your great reaction.
This is pretty safe to react to, because it was actually a really well made compilation of 2 consecutive nights in Budokan 2021 :D This is why we wanted you to not miss it! I knew you would have loved it!! In their latest album you might find other songs that you like, since they mixed EDM with metal in a few songs! Did you notice how the lights started yellow, then it becomes dark, then turns more blue until it becomes yellow again, to symbolize the passage from Dusk till Dawn :) The Kami band of the West made an instrumental intro for the song Kagerou, and only for that one! So that could be a good place to start the third album :) The last song for the second album, is Syncopation! So the channel you took the "From Dusk Till Dawn" video, has a pretty good compilation of Syncopation. If you use footage that is not a compilation, it will most likely be blocked, unless you put a logo on top|

The green bands on their legs is from the flat laser hitting their legs, creating that effect. The flat laser along with the fog creates that 'in the clouds' effect as if they were soaring through the sky as the song actually takes you. GREAT reaction! This is one of my most favorite songs.

Well, strictly speaking, played 4 times at a concert and performed 3 times, 1st time live is correct, but 1nd time play is at first night of Tokyo Dome over the PA system as people leave,. so they really did play all original songs they had at the time. And two consequentive days at Budokan in 2023. That first time at Budokan was actually exactly 44 moths after the first time live. One of the reasons this song seems to not have been performed live was because it seemed to have been stuck behind some kind of copyright from a Babymetal series they were working on with Warner Bros, but the project ended.
I was lucky to see them perform “From Dusk Till Dawn” at the Palladium in Los Angeles. They did it for the encore. I was very surprised, because it’s one of my favorites and they don’t usually play it. This Budokan version is magnificent!
I've been a Japanese fan of BABYMETAL for a long time. I think this song is BABYMETAL's "best". There is a duo of American rappers who have been doing BABYMETAL reactions on UA-cam for a long time. The West Kami Band features world class musicians from the USA (for tours outside of Asia after 2019. The West Kami’s did the European leg of BabyMetal’s world tour and will tour with BabyMetal this summer and fall for concerts in the U.S.
For Syncopation I recommend the video by "ferr". It says compilation but doesn't feel like one and the footage is amazing, it's the most popular video for a reason. The videos saying Budokan 2021 are in most cases compilations of different concerts they held in a succession, even though it's not stated explicitly, because it wouldn't be possible to upload the original footage without getting struck.
FDTD is one of the more obscure songs from their catalogue, so it often gets overlooked by reactors, which is a shame because its a good song. It only appears on the international version of Metal Resistance (the Japanese version has Syncopation), and its only ever been performed live three times (including the two performances in this video at 10 Babymetal Budokan). I hope one day they pull it out of mothballs because I would like to see it live.
On your last Babymetal video someone commented that you also haven't reacted to the regular version of Akatsuki from the 1st album. I recommend the performance from Budokan Black Night 2014.
Thanks for this reaction. Pretty certain their is an effect on Su-metal's voice and Moametal too at some point. The socks that light up with a band, pretty certain that's just a laser light shining low over the stage. You can only see certain laser light if their is something in the way, which is their legs and smoke at for example 14:10

Hi TYLR, and NOW you know why I keep comparing her to Morissette Amon. She has insane vocal range like Mori. We don't know if she can do the whistle notes and she doesn't do the vocal squeaks that Mori does, but vocal control, range, power, and emotions are all there, much like Mori. As for the glowing ankles, I think its either the lasers as mentioned, or they have black lights also going down there and the girls are wearing white in that area so the white is really popping. But I think it is lasers. Finally last song you still need to do is Syncopation. Pretty sure that's also going to make it to your top 5 songs at least. This also brings up one last point. You're probably starting to realize that pretty much all Babymetal songs are good, and CAN be considered your favorite. It mostly depends on your mood for the moment lol

Hi TYLR, and NOW you know why I keep comparing her to Morissette Amon. She has insane vocal range like Mori. We don't know if she can do the whistle notes and she doesn't do the vocal squeaks that Mori does, but vocal control, range, power, and emotions are all there, much like Mori. As for the glowing ankles, I think its either the lasers as mentioned, or they have black lights also going down there and the girls are wearing white in that area so the white is really popping. But I think it is lasers. Finally last song you still need to do is Syncopation. Pretty sure that's also going to make it to your top 5 songs at least. This also brings up one last point. You're probably starting to realize that pretty much all Babymetal songs are good, and CAN be considered your favorite. It mostly depends on your mood for the moment lol
