My personal belief is that fish don't get scared much from talking unless it is very shallow water. However I have done some underwater filming while scuba diving and I am always amazed how much sounds from clanking travel underwater from boats or waves. So I am not to worried about making sounds with my mouth that travels though the air but very careful about sounds that travel through liquids and solids like stepping over rocks, walking on a creaky dock, or breaking branches. When salmon or trout fishing I found fish that are near waterfalls or other rapids have harder time keying into to these sounds as well so you can be less stealthy.
Great video and tips! My daughter and I will be hitting some great weed beds tomorrow on a crystal clear municipal lake that doesn't allow gas motors. I usually work the blowdowns and stumps and have never had the inclination to work the weeds but that will change come morning!
It's tough but worth it, while getting hung up on all that weed. Try the edges - seems a lot of Bass sit there in ambush position. Thanks for watching and good luck out there!
That was a 6 inch Berkley 'Gulp' worm in their 'Pumpkinseed' colour. Great for fishing 'wacky style'. Looks green underwater and comes scented. When the filming is real tough I blend different scents together to cover the full scope, and saturate the bait. In this case it's 3 of Berkley's popular sprays. On a tough bite adding any scent makes a big difference........but even I get lazy out there, or forget when fishing. Better to recharge every 3rd cast. Makes a mess of the boat too! LOL
Unbelievable quality! 😍
Thank you, very interesting!
That is some great information, and underwater footage to go with it.
Thanks for the tips🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇
Woah....this video is extremely helpful. Best underwater footage! I'll be zeroing in on these bass in no time
Great info and awesome video

What type or scent of worm were you using around 1:08
