Using a Stitch Guide on a Modern Zig-Zag machine

Using a dimensional seam guide is very useful to keep a consistent 1/4" seam. By using a Seam Allowance Guide ruler and a strip of Dr. Scholl's Molefoam Padding, you can set your seam allowance to keep a consistent seam as you piece. This video is done on a Brother sewing machine and uses the needle position function to move the needle to the right so the guide can sit outside the feed-dogs next to the open-toe foot.
