HPQ 2 Sewing Rows

Once your rows are stitch, then it's time to sew them together into the long sections. Always match up the whole hexies to be sure the rows are in the right order. Place a pin close to the edge you plan to stitch so you don't mistakenly sew the wrong edge. Place a pin at each dog-ear intersection, making sure the dog-ears are lined up nicely. This will assure your center points of your hexies will line up. As you sew lift the strips to be sure the seams that have been pressed open don't flip back as you sew. On large panels with multiple rows on either side of the panel, stitch long rows in pairs and then stitch the pairs together from the opposite end--similar to sewing strip sets in opposite directions to keep them from bowing.
