Great job! Denny was such a big part of Wings success in the 70's, from Wild Life - Back to the Egg. Some great albums / songs in those years. Denny was the one that was always there, w/Paul & Linda. So sorry to hear of his passing :(
Love and light to you Denny 💙✨💪 and kudos to all. I haven’t cried today, but @puddlespityparty has me weeping like a child. Puddles, you take me to church every damn time. “Do Good Work” … you do it with every note my precious fella. #cry #onions #fellowship
I had the occasion to see Denny Laine at our NYC Beatlefest many years ago. So handsome for his age at the time, and so alive. Great musician and talent. And personable and debonair! He was part of Wings' best music. RIP Denny.
Looked like there was a great spirit in the room, clowns, monkees and something for everybody, it was a good life to be part of Wings and Moody Blues, hard to beat that except for Wings and The Beatles.
Yeah, just like he helped make things right with the royalties from the song mull of kintyre. Written by Denny, stolen by Faul, credit to Faul for the biggest single of all time . Denny , still waiting. DENNY STILL BROKE. The imposter is EVIL.
I had the good fortune to meet Denny Laine after one of his shows. He is the absolute nicest most down-to-earth guy. I wish him well in his return to good health. We're praying for you Denny.
I must have listened to him sing "Go Now" on the Wings Over America album a thousand times. It was my favorite track from that album, which is chock full of McCartney songs!
Bless you all for doing this. Musicians should create a Foundation to help the ones in need. Aldo, The Strawbs David Cousins health is also not well. And who knows how many others!
Guess Paul finally wrote Denny that 'Note You Never Wrote' today on Instagram. I hope Denny knew how loved he was. PS. Denny appeared in Tims ridiculous 'Decker' TV/web series. Highly recommended.
Paul McCartney is worth ~ $1.2 billion. Surprised he isn't helping out? Denny was a legit help to Wings, writing, playing lead and rhythm guitar, singing backup and writing. Put another way, the last time PM did *anything* post-Beatles that hasn't profoundly sucked was when Denny Laine was with him. On a related note, I wonder how many guys who were "Rock God-adjacent," i.e. crucial sidemen like Denny, are outliving their royalty streams? I know that a lot of guys who were truly invaluable session mainstays, like Nicky Hopkins, never received royalties from their contributions because they weren't band members.
Rubbish ! If Nicky Hopkins was a sessions player then he got paid like a sessions player. That's life !! Nobody kept him from being a real rock star or whatever. And your "....anything post-Beatles that hasn't profoundly sucked" comment only shows how deaf and blind you seem to be.
Does anybody know the name of the drummer on the first song? He played most of the night. I went to this show but I never caught his name. His playing was great!
Puddles packs a one-two sucker punch combining the soulful power pipes of Tom Jones with the visual pathos of a pre-fame Leo Sayer, rocking an unsuspecting audience back on its collective heal!..
Sad state of affairs that in 2023 people still have to go asking for financial help when they get sick. Denny was hardly a marginal figure in pop music but he was an artist, and artists no matter their stature are still treated poorly by the powers-that-be.
Very true and tell that to Paul McCartney, as Denny Laine didn't get any royalties on the song Mull Of Kyntire even though he co wrote the song with McCartney , so bad.
@@philipbonner6486 There's some hard feelings between the two, that much I can glean. I'm not about to decide who is right or wrong but yeah, of course, it would be great if Paul could help. They were obviously mates for a long while. That said, the responsibility for taking care of someone who is sick should not be that of an old friend, no matter what kind of wealth he has. It should be a right we have, that's what I believe and that's what is really sad about his situation.

Great Tribute show for Denny Laine! He lives on in the music of The Moody Blues, Wings, and all of the lives he touched during his time on Earth!
Actually, his stint in The Moody Blues is largely forgotten except for Go Now. He was better known for being in Wings.
Nice to see original Wings drummer, Denny Seiwell beating the skins without missing a step.
Best wishes, Denny Laine.❤🩹
Très bon et émouvant show qui permet de mieux cerner son oeuvre. Ce sont les amis qui savent mieux en parler. Thanks a lot
