So glad Denny got a chance to shine so late in his life...THIS should have been Paul's show, welcoming and embracing Denny to the stage to sing and play with HIS band. As much as I like you, you totalaly screwed up Paul, shame on you...at least Denny proved here he didn't need YOUR endorsement. He was faithful and helped your ass up off the floor after the Beatles as a new partner in Wings and writing songs.. Paul, you let it go for too long, too many decades. A great disservice to your friend...RIP Denny

Have same reverence for McCartney and his genius and legacy etc. etc. but I think I would have rather been in the company of Denny listening to him tell stories over a beer. Paul seems to harbour grudges like many do, at a certain point though you have to put that behind you. McCartney put out a statement after Denny died but it just looked like amateurish PR stuff.

Yes… I was at school when “Go Now” was released. Denny Laine and his family lived almost opposite to me in Birmingham. 🩵
