Drive Through Timaru City Center, Seaside City, New Zealand

The second largest city in Canterbury, Timaru sits about midway between Christchurch and Dunedin. It has everything you need for a pleasant stopover. Caroline Bay has a safe swimming beach, botanic gardens, a landscaped piazza and wonderful walks. On Boxing Day every year, generations of kiwis and expats flock to this Bay for the summer carnival.

That music is a downer: Something a little more up-beat and positive next time. But I'll tell you what: Timaru may be small and quiet, but it's more than I imagined. I didn't realize it had so many beautiful, old, historic buildings. One thing's for sure: It's clean and safe. Thanx for the tour.

No dude that's New Zealand all over. It's wonderful it's not overpopulated and beautiful. My girlfriend is from Hawk's Bay and I've been to NZ 5 times. Pretty much been everywhere there and loved all of it.
