@@kellymartin114 Ok thanks, but in general many western countries have depressing life style, most shops are closed by 3 PM. You will find more pigeons in town square then people after 3 PM in western countries, in NZ i was informed its even bad. Loneliness and boredom leads to depression

@@venchingfu shops are open later than 3pm in New Plymouth , depends on the shop most smaller retail outlets 5pm larger retail outlets 8pm supermarkets usually 10pm. Restraints and bars , early hours of the morning depending on day

lots of shops and businesses, i dont see any hoarding or closed up shops, NZ must be doing well. In the UK and ireland, shops are being boarded up and closed down on a large scale and hotels folding up and turned into asylum centres for mass immigration and that was before "covid"
