This is the best immigrant video I've seen. Not only bec of how informative it is but because the presenter is straight to the point. There's no dilly dallying, it's not an impromptu presentation. And there's none of those annoying and distracting sound effects that most Philippine Vlogger video's have.
Thanks so much I love this ❤
Very informative sissy! As in, very on point! Super Detailed! Great effort!

@@LoveTrisha Thanks po hehehe :D Waiting for new upload :) I really love Baking soda and Vinegar Mixture video.
It's cost less than Australia but the wages are lower in NZ.
Shortage of housing especially in Auckland account for the high cost of ownership of a house.
Thanks for this information. Can you tell more about dentist fee? Will insurance cover it?
nag like napo. i like you eh hehe.
Here in Australia a 60 square house with 5 bedrooms, 4 lounges, double garage car only costs 2.5 million. But that’s a mansion already. To rent a 3 bedroom house will be at least 300 to 400 AUD. A bigger house will be 400-500 AUD depending on the size of the house, the structure and how new is it. New apartments might be expensive especially in the city area. 2 bedroom apartment May cost 800,000 to 1 million. This is just an estimate. Also depending on the builder. But New Zealand is quite expensive. What more other things. Maybe will just stay here in Australia. My husband loved it here already. His Maltese and I’m Filipina. We met here while his on holiday. We’re ok here and he doesn’t want to live anywhere else anymore. Thanks for sharing and have a nice day.
Of course you did
For your 2 child budget family you did not include government allowances that this family would certainly qualify for so at the time of this video would probably give them a substantial amount more per week, essentially returning nearly all their income tax. Also things have changed dramatically of course, as they have in every country, the minimum wage has risen but also so has inflation, so anyone watching this video would need to take these things into account.
thanks cutie very helpful : ))
Thanks for sharing! :)
No worries! Hope you enjoyed the video! ❤️
Great video Trisha very good information! I'm trying to come to New zealand after the covid restrictions are lifted. I have a question about the minimum wage. I researched online and has it increased to $20?
Yes. It around $20 now i think. And I believe it’s going to increase in the next few months again or next year.
@@LoveTrisha really? Wow that's great. I heard also they are going full electric cars by 2023. Is this also true?
I tell you what, I’m a New Zealander, I’m 34 years old and I have 2 kids, the average New Zealander earning the average wage cannot survive comfortably no matter where you are in the North Island, especially Auckland, food prices, house prices, rent prices, utility prices etc etc are all over priced compared to the amount of money you earn, you need to people working to sustain a functioning life, sometimes that won’t even be a comfortable life as one persons wage goes to rent, the others goes to food and utilities, impossible to save, impossible to buy a house, impossible to actually get ahead. It’s called inflation and it steals money from you in the form of lowering the value of your dollar in your pocket which makes everything else more expensive, meanwhile the wage doesn’t rise accordingly, and if it did it would set prices even higher cos there’s more money out there once again. In short. We are fucked. The whole western world is experiencing this now and it’s because of big governments and big banks over spending and over printing!
I agree, unfortunately living in Auckland (or like you said anywhere in north-island from experience) even just above minimum wage is paycheck to paycheck (if you're lucky), even if you have qualifications or skills your still (most likely) looking at earning a pretty low-wage in contrast to the price of basic living, most people I know work 2 jobs or do overtime every week to make enough money....rentals and houses prices have gone up since this was posted it seems, and a lot of the rentals available are absolute health hazards (be careful!!). But we will keep hoping ....
It's the same here in Ireland. You'd struggle to live on minimum wage. When I grew up my father's wage alone supported a family of 5 with 3 children. You'd struggle to do that now. Most families or couples I know both adults have to work and people wouldn't be able to afford 3 children now unless you are depending solely on social welfare and get subsidised housing.
Nice 1 lods
nice video, can you make a video about how to find a job in NZ
Wow! huge difference when it comes to house Rentals . when I was there in the 90's but everything's about the same the City looks a bit more built up, esp. Symond Street with the Auckland Tower, AUCK still beautiful, Mission Bay was my favourite spot. I lived around Sandringham, more power Trish! you pick a great country, Living in Canada now...
informative
Soon...
Still looking cute Trish, can you tell me have you lived in different cities there? Much appreciated from an Australian.🎉
New Zealanders expenses could be less expensive especially if you have a backyard. Causes you usually get enough of space for your own garden fruit trees and a chicken coup especially in the rural areas some countries you'll be lucky if you had a backyard or outdoor space then you can trade with neighbours for some thing they may have in their garden or fruit tree you may not have. Meat a group of neighbours can get together directly and bargain a better price with a farmer for a lamb beef or pork they may have a there own abattoir on there farm causes every sheep or cattle farmer in New Zealand is a skilled Butcher. Your giving the farmer a better price than hes getting for a whole sheep than he would get from exporting it overseas they sell the cattle in bulk causes its faster to get rid of them hence the lower price a farmer gets per cow, sheep, pork he probably sells his sheep per head overseas in bulk $100 example a group of neighbours could offer him $150 each thats cheaper than buying 4 leg of lambs and you could buy one each for a month same goes with other cattle. Also with the orchard farmers. Before we could buy thoses things on the side of the road or pick your own from the orchards and vegetable garden farmers all of that disappeared causes of supermarkets under cutting thoses farmers.there is always a cheaper way buy going directly to the farmer. They'll rather sell there product to a New Zealander for a fear price than to export it overseas the sheep population dropped severely we use to have over 75 million now its down to 30 mil the farmers ain't getting money from the wool and the money they get from exporting them overseas has dropped so they've changed to dairy farming which is less environmentally friendly but more sustainable than sheep farming.
Great video! I'm going to move in November to NZ and it reasures mes that I could live with a minimum wage job! Thank you 😁
Nono u can't live with a minimum jobs or salary nowadays here, tumaas na masyado lahat n u have no future here Kung minimum earnings lang target mo...
@@elviratejada1899 Just wanted to say, minimum wage is enough to flat with other people for the rest of your life and only buy the bare minimum. But if you got dreams of saving to get a house one day, stay away from NZ and go to Australia instead.
How is it so far
Nice info ma'am watching here in papatoetoe Auckland
Thank you po!
❤💕
Hi lovelies! I hope you liked the video. By the way, I also made scenario computations at the last few minutes of the video so be sure to watch until the end. I provided computations on a person who earns a minimum wage job living in Auckland, a family with 2 children where both parents are earning minimum wage, and a person living a good lifestyle in Auckland. Let me know what you think about these computations!
Very informative. How can i reach you. Am a Nurse, how is Nurses treated.
@@ekwuochagerald2022 hi! The links of my Instagram and Facebook account are in the description box of this video! ❤️
Alright, i already Dm you on Facebook
Lovely mam I love it
what i'd notice with this budget, its all expenses, nothing on savings. you should consider investing even in banks' mutual funds, and better yet, try the stock market. you should put a certain amount every week on your savings and consider it as part of your money you use too. save for your future!
Mam I love u r voice its so clear and I am speach less
Very interesting and informative video Trisha, thanks for sharing! #FWBL #YHY
Thank you Vara!
hi love
Exactly living in New Zealand is expensive. I’m a New Zealander. When people move to live. You make sure you go for good to live and work New Zealand very strick of overstsyers.
Hi Trisha, I and my husband are planning on relocating to New Zealand but we don't know how to go about it.
Is there any offers on government sponsored jobs presently?
Hi, Trisha. Your video is very informative. Would you be able to give suggestion of average monthly salary per profession especially for those going for interview to guide us how much we should set as expectation. TIA.
Will try to work on it! ❤️
accomodation is quite cheap, here in Singapore you can rent a 2 bedroom unit for around sgd2,200 at least. While the average rent for a room is already sgd650
In NZ rent costs can and do vary. Location and area size determine cost. Apartment living and or renting a house can affect the cost. City vs Town can affect cost etc.
ahak mahala oy hihihi..
Nice :)
my wife is Chinese our son is 8 years old,we live in China.I have been away for 22 years .thinking of returning to NZ maybe next year. any advice on returning back to NZ?
Yes, but where isn't?
You forgot Wendy's!!! Best fast food in NZ at the best prices. We love their potato menu!
Thank you for information ... But 2000 NZD even after working with high pay jobs are very less ...

hi trisha the only problem with acc you only get 80% of your pay if you go on acc tho
Thank you Mam about cost of New Zealand...God bless you good night
Hi, hope you would be good,
Minimum wage is less than living wage in nz...living wage is 26 dollars an hour minimum wage is 22 dollars 70 cents a hour so your basically living to work instead of working to live seeing as most employers here don't want to pay more than the bare minimum
Hi
Trisha
Hope you will be fine i want to relocate in New Zealand in future i am living in UK for 17 please help me how I can move to New Zealand from UK in future

She's really cute.
Omg I think I can't save money if I go in NZ, I think, All countries are high on cost of living. I did finish my contract in japan but now I want to work in NZ. But i think it's the same scenario😢 Always working and no savings for retirement.
Planning to work in New Zealand, but I have insomnia or sleep problem . New Zealand has Psychiatrist?

Hi
Thank you for letting me know how ridiculously expensive the rent there is.. I was planning on studying there but I think it should be impossible for a part time job to cover that kind of rent.
You can look for flatmates to share your rent expense. That's what students do here.
@@LoveTrisha very great idea 🙏☺
I got a job offer sa East Auckland with $55k annual salary parang $4.8k siya monthly ganun. I will be living alone and the company will provide a house in which 4 of us will share. Sabi I just have to pay $250 weekly. I was just wondering kung keri na yung ganyang offer?
See the article in the UK The Guardian newspaper on line to day 02.09.23 titled "Boomerang Adults". It explains the current TRUE position & economic situation of life in New Zealand for native born. Potential immigrants should be fully aware of the situation. It's bad and not likely to improve any time soon !
Yes it's terribly expensive to live in paradise but themselves the breaks .... only come if you are willing to contribute to its cohesion
yes living in new zealand costs a lot but it's bloody worth it!
Why did you say that?
I live in New Zealand..its only auckland an wellington that is expensive to live...everywhere els is affordable
That is true.
