My link ecu has no RPM signal. My tuner is calling it defective and I'm so pist off, he's calling link junk and said he's seen defective units 7 times in his life from them.
Just brought one for my GTX 😬 but I'm in NZ so should be all good hopefully
dont be surprised with clicking relays, LINK is junk@@AstleTruscott
Hey I'm doing the same thing on an S14 Silvia, I have some wiring questions for the expansion harness. I have a fuel pressure sensor, oil pressure sensor, IAT all installed.
Do I just run my 5v to each sensor in parallel from the expansion harness?
Do I do the same with the sensor grounds?
I'm hesitant to start doing my wiring because I can't find any info on the expansion harness wiring when it is going to multiple sensors.
That's a good question. I would suggest asking this on the Link ECU forums. They will get back to you quickly and are very willing to help. I also found no information on the expansion harness
This is the same ecu i plan on running in the S2000 once i get to that point.. i was between link g4x and haltech elite 1500, but links fits better since it goes inside the stock ecu.. Any cons that you have come across by running links?
My biggest recommendation would be to find a good tuner, then run the ECU they work with. It's a good ECU, i still like it, but had a tough time finding a good tuner to work with it
@@MtGarage I am very familiar tuning with hondata S300, So i plan on tuning it myself, evans tuning has courses i can buy that show step by step tuning cars using this ecu.. i feel i can do it with more knowledge on how the software works.. I am always changing stuff with cars so i feel i need to learn the tune myself in order to have a good running car.. Most decent tuners here are at least 7hr away..
Well I used my wrist strap wrong 🤣 hopefully I didn't destroy mine..
hi we are working about formula student and we choice this ECU if you have about any information about this ecu please share me maybe datasheet
The Link ECU site has all the information you should need.
linkecu.com/which-ecu/
where and how did you find and download the "drivers"
Windows should download them automatically. If not you may have to reach out to Link support
Did u have to mess with ecu jumper switch
I did not need to change the jumper as I'm running the S14 and the jumper setting did not apply to me
I got the same ecu same engine same car my tuner is struggling to get car started any tips to look at ?
I had to set the trigger offset to about -60 to get close to starting. I realized the trigger and timing settings are very important. Also reach out to Link support or the Forums, they are very good
