A twisted leg is actually a completely normal aspect of selvedge denim! Because denim is a twill and woven diagonally, the shrinkage will cause a twisting that differs entirely from jean to jean.
One question: during this process of the indigo coloring fading out, especially before the first washing, does it leave blue stains on things? I mean, the seat of the car, the office chair, my sofa at home, etc...
If you spend a prolonged period of time in contact with something - i.e. seats or a bag that rubs against the jeans - you will see indigo bleeding. The amount will depend on the jeans, but it's best to avoid lighter clothes, hi-top shoes, and easy to stain surfaces before your first couple of washes.
You'll have slightly more control over raw jeans than a pre-washed jean, but it's important to remember that 'raw' only refers to the fact the cotton has never been washed, and selvedge refers to the production process of the jean!

can i spin dry my jeans (i really dont want my jeans to shrink or change shape) since its not the same as tumble dry and theres no heat involved.
