So OP 13 (Chinese version) is official and I am SERIOUSLY considering it over Galaxy S25U in 2025, hopefully nothing much changes on the global version when it's announced likely in Jan '25, except the OS from ColorOS 15 to OxygenOS 15.
I had a couple OnePlus phones in the past but I ended up returning the 12 th and getting a Galaxy s 24 plus. The The cameras and the speaker and the haptics were better on the OnePlus but the software and the size of the phone was better on the Samsung even though they had the same size screen the Samsung phone was noticeably smaller. That doesn't seem like a big deal but now that phones are like 6.8 in you want as little extra besides the screen as you can get. Anyway I'll definitely be taking a look at the OnePlus 13 and maybe giving it a go I'm not sure depends on the price I think.
I'm happy that 1 + chose to keep at least a minor curve on the display. Frankly, flat screens look cheap and utilitarian. Curved glass looks far more premium and offers ergonomics. I'm extremely happy with my OnePlus 12 and I'm not sure that I want to trade it. If I decide to purchase a 13, I will probably trade my 11. Although, I love that phone too.

Not excited about the camera placement. Unless there is some huge portion of the 13 I missed that puts it above and beyond the 12, or it sells at a really good price. I’ll probably be sitting this one out. Honestly disappointed with this release. I get that OP will never release the premium version outside of china. And that’s a pity because there are a boat load of people who would buy one in a heartbeat. But the global model is nothing to sneeze at. This just looks like such a lame half grade. A partial upgrade.

Went from iPhone 15 Pro Max to OnePlus 12 to Pixel 9 Pro XL. OnePlus is the winner even before factoring in the great price!
I skipped pixel 9 pro XL because of the pricing. I am going to grab me One plus, if the price is right
their price is always good, usually under $1000 for the max storage top end model. I expect no different with this one.
The pixels think they can compete with iphones by slapping a crazy high price, they gotta do more than that lol
