Something to keep in mind, at wrestlemania 3 Andre was 44 years old, pretty much the age where most wrestlers start winding down their career. Omos is ONLY 28. They said Andre wasn't beaten for like 15 years before WM 3, and Omos is 16 years younger than Andre was then. If you wanted to build Omos into an Andre, and this might sound crazy, but right now would be the time to start the 15 year undefeated streak.

Like a Wrestlemania streak right? I don't think any wrestler can go fifteen years (full time) and never lose once. It becomes stale. But if the WWE were to sneakily begin building a new wrestlemania streak under our noses...that would be pretty awesome.

Omos has been in a really difficult situation. They couldn’t put him in developmental because developmental is broadcast on national television. You can’t have your next giant looking vulnerable to developmental wrestlers. He can’t beat top stars because he’s still green. it wouldn’t have been believable. On the other hand, you can’t do what they have done with him already and have him lose to the top stars of the company either. Giants almost have to be trained like you are developing a secret weapon and hide them from the public lol train them at a top-secret location. Keep them off of social media. Have some top stars come over and teach them things were you are ready to cut him loose

I think their end game for Omos is to gain experience facing all these top stars. And when they feel he can go at it, he could turn on MVP and then he can go on a winning run to get back his aura of invincibility. I think that would be a better way to build somebody up than having him on an undefeated streak. The downside for those streaks is that the streak comes to define the character. Once he loses the streak, there is nothing left in the character (see: Ryback).

I wouldn't want him to be another Andre, they have a unique chance to build him now, into something unique an all his own. Similar to how they did with Kali, say what you will about that guys lack of mobility or ring work, but he was this unique, over guy with younger fans and his fellow countrymen.
Omos has a ton of personality, I once saw him and Kofi having a play argument about height an it was fun. He kept correcting Kofi pointing out "from my point of view I'm regular size, you just small compared to me" and if they find a way to channel his personality and pair it with the imposing figure, he'll make them bank as an attraction.

Omos beat AJ Styles when their team broke up but I think that match was on Raw. I also think he beat Bobby Lashley in a rematch after last year's Wrestlemania but other wise it does seem like he's a just a giant for guys to slay. First Bobby, then Braun, then Brock and now Seth who doesn't even match up to him physically at all. If Omos starts jobbing to mid-carders like Gargano and Miz, then we know they've given up on him.

This match was probably the best Omos match yet... It worked and the moves and pace made sense and crowd liked it and it made Seth look like serious underdog whole time.
The issue with Omos at this point is that he wrestles mostly only on PPV yet I don't remember last time he won... Lashley beat him, Lesnar beat him, Seth beat him so his credibility is at Great Khali level at the end of his run... Sure he is big but he lost to everyone in the single match he had so why should I see him as threat to his opponent when his win record is that of a jobber.

Hey look at how many times Big Show lost but he still won belts too. Big Show was the closest thing to Andre.

This match was great just because it wasn't too long.

They have ruined omos by turning him into a jobber. Now he is just great kahli 2.0 but worse

I mean absolutely no disrespect to Paul( Big Show), but Andre will always be the Giant. Just like Jerry Lawler will always be the KING.

This conversation of Omos getting better is on the same level as the Miz getting better. I guess Omos is reliable, available, puts in a good effort, does what he's told, and punctual. Omos just doesn't have a beautiful wife and has not been on reality shows or games shows.

Compared to Giant Gonzales; Omos looks like Shawn Michaels.

Seth vs Omos was better than it needed to be. Just too bad Omos is just 7 feet tall. Cause outside being tall he brings nothing to a match.

Must admit I enjoyed the spot were omos stopped the stomp with his strength, looked really good. Bad things are he lost again and the annoying fans keep singing ohhhh noises instead of focusing on the wrestling

keep jobbing him and then repackage him with alpha academy. Get omos the sauce 💪 and jacked .. have them tear up the tag division and then omos turns on gable at mania. He turns back heel but now he has a ground game
